Doesn't matter whether you made the mistake, they made the mistake or god made the mistake. The bottom line is that it is not your money and never was, and you'll have to pay it back, although you might be able to negotiate a settlement to reduce the amount you owe if you have a decent attorney to represent you.
I got overpaid $4,000+ on my social security disability benefits because of a mistake by social security, and I had to pay it back, so they withheld my check for four months.

Your benefits might be approved, but you won't receive them because they'll be withheld as an offset to what you owe (but that benefits you in the long run).
The Moon, which is in incredibly bad shape despite being in the 1st House, is in an applying opposition to Jupiter which is slow, but offset by the fact that Jupiter is in Hayz. Jupiter is about to go retrograde in about a week.
Although the Moon and Saturn might still be in moiety, the Moon has separated from Saturn because there is more than a difference of 6' of arc (according to Lily). The Moon is mutable and angular and <=1° so we are talking one week's time from the job (Saturn ruling 6th -- which is a job that one has/had NOT a job that one is seeking or doesn't have yet).

For the benefit of others, in the US, benefits are 8th House Matters (Financial Obligations/Monies Owed/Taxes), since the individual pays into those accounts as a tax.
A portion of each person's wages are withheld to cover the taxes for social security, medicare, the federal unemployment tax, the state unemployment tax and worker's compensation tax (in case of injury).
These are essentially taxes that are paid as insurance benefits to the employee.
