Can you see any significance of my dad's death in his birth chart?
My dad died when I Was two, he got in a car accident on the way home from work (night shifts) and came around a corner on the road and hit a bull, he was in a coma for two days and then died. I've been studying his chart and I'm still trying to piece together what his chart is really saying...
Considering the situation that happened, the things that really stick out to me from his chart, are
-Pluto in Virgo in 6th house, opposing Asc/1st house in Pisces.
-The degree overview for Pluto (1'22 Virgo) is "A simple but impressively large white cross has been set up in splendid isolation on top of a commanding eminence."
-12th house is also in Pisces.
-Uranus & Pluto IN 6th house
-Neptune and North node in Scorpio, in 8th house.
-Uranus in Leo in 6th squared North Node in Scorpio in 8th
-8th house squared Moon in Capricorn in 11th

Re: Can you see any significance of my dad's death in his birth chart?
I am not up totally on death charts but progressions, transits and solar returns tell us a little more than just the natal chart. That is for beginners like me. I know there are more experienced folks on board here who can predict this stuff just on the natal.
We can look at the chart and know that Venus rules his 8th house and mercury rules his 4th, end of life. We can look at these rulers, locations, but it would nice to know when he died to look at what transits were going on. Gemini as ruler of his 4th tells that third house issues (Gemini as traditional ruler of third) could be in play and third house rules automobiles.
With mars in the 8th mars rules accidents and head injuries as the natural ruler of Aries which is head. It is in detriment in Libra. The sun, ruler of his 6th is in the 8th also and conjoined by mars. Jupiter rules his 10th house of career. Jupiter expands what it touches and may or may not be protective.
Can you give us the day of his death or accident.?

Comparison of the chart erected for the time of his death, and compared with the natal and the profection of his natal to the year of his death, could show indications.

Re: Can you see any significance of my dad's death in his birth chart?
I will preface this by saying that the following are some thoughts....and I must say this is a sorrowful thing..too lose ones father so young...I am sorry for your loss.
I will upload solar return, w and without houses as well as progressed chart and grid for solar arc...
there is a clear pattern showing...look at recurring themes in the charts.
First I look for 4th house, 8th house rulers and traditional rulers as well as connections to the sun for health, recurring connections of planets of natal to transits and in progressions.
I would expect some challenge to solar arc angles or progressed angles as well as mars or uranus involved.
I saw too neptune playing a role as well as the moon which makes me believe that he was thinking of other things as neptune clouds our minds. We particularly must take care when we see a neptune even in trine to our natal or progressed planets. Under neptune trine sun I became more accident prone.
I made the assumption that his accident was close to where he was born. If not the returns must be altered to reflect where he lived during 1993.
His 9th house was rising in his solar return that year putting 9th and 3rd as a focus.
Pluto is in the first as ruler of the first in modern astrology indicating transformation, change, death and birth.
If we focus on the 3rd and 9th we see the 9th house empty and its ruler in the 5th house of children, pleasure creativity in opposition to jupiter in the 11th house, ruler of 2nd house. Jupiter, though benevolent in opposition can imply elavated emotional states. Moon squares neptune in the 2rd or moon is challenged by neptune/uranus in the 2nd house.
Neptune and uranus create a trine to Venus in the 10th house. In this solar return neptune rules the 4th house of endings. Venus rules the natal 8th house. Trines are not always a harbinger of good but sometimes eases the way for negative things to happen. See okaycorral outline.
Neptune and uranus also challenge the sun.
Pluto in the first is challenged by saturn ruler of the 3rd house and in the third
Mercury rules the 8th house hidden in the 12th with mars...the 12th is self-undoing but also things we can not see or that are hidden to us, hidden. enemies.
Progressed charts show P-mercury square sun. Mercury rules his natal fourth house of endings and sun his health.
Progressed venus sextiles Neptune and trines pluto revisiting this theme of neptunes clouded vision and an easing to transformation. Venus rules his 8th house.
Solar arc chart shows SA-neptune semisquare moon...emotions again and clouded state...see a repeat theme of neptune square moon in the solar?
the SA Uranus has moved to square natal MC and IC.
Uranus rules his 12th house of unseen things and self-undoing.
Other note worthy items include solar arc mars conjunct north node.
Solar arc mars square Uranus.
What are the repeat themes and aspects from natal? Chiron seems to be a connector somehow in the solar and natal chart connecting important players together.
Chiron is wounds and it is most visible in the 10th house of the solar return connecting venus, mars, mercury together. It is also connecting moon and uranus/neptune by 135 degrees often symbolic of things that are out of our control. Something he could not control. An old wound. His natal chiron occupies the 12th house of things unseen by himself.
Re: Can you see any significance of my dad's death in his birth chart?
To determine if the native is in danger, use the Hyleg, the giver of life. There are some complicated rules given for finding this, but I always use the sect ruler no matter its condition, and have found this method to be effective. In this chart the Sun is Hyleg.
However, the Sun is fallen in the 8th house and with malefic Mars. This is a dangerous position for the Hyleg, and it indicates a short life and violent death unless precautions are taken. Most ancient astrologers would try to find another Hyleg such as the ascendant degree or the Lot of Fortune assuming the native was taking their advice to avoid danger.
There are three possibilities for the killing planet: Saturn the almuten of the 8th, Venus in detriment and ruler of the 8th, or Mars in detriment with the Sun. Venus and Mars, and Sun and Saturn are in mutual reception; thus the significators are all connected and active. Saturn is square the lot of death in the first house. This is a fated chart, but the native is not always in danger. This is determined by the use of primary directions and profections. I did some calculations of directions by hand and find Mars and Venus to be the killing significators.
Day-for-a-year progression is easier to do but does not give such exact indications. In this chart using the time method of progression Lot of Fortune is with Mars.
