Its a near certainty this person (BFF) is not a genuine Taurus rising, but Aries.

Re: Indication of laziness in a natal chart?
interesting , would anyone here consider any aspects from venus to the ascendant or to the sun to be indicative of laziness?

Re: Indication of laziness in a natal chart?
I dont know in what area you are accused of being lazy but a Taurus Moon in the 6th can mean you are lazy or just slow about everyday matters and rituals involving food, diet, clothing and housing....Also work habits. Venus is not badly aspected in your chart as the orbs are too wide with those squares I think and is the planet generally ascribed to laziness. Lack of interest or motivation can make us lazy. Sometimes Taurus planets are just sensual and languid and slow in action which does not mean laziness necessarily.

I agree as they are easy, they dont need much attention or work.
It is always our challenging aspects that produce growth and progress in life.

I tend to ignore those types, especially Leo women (not being sexist, they're just a lot bossier than the men in my experience), no doubt owing to my Ascendant/Venus in Leo
But on a personal note, and I'll probably get flamed for this, but if the person demanding you to do things has Leo on the ascendant or is a Leo Sun, stop trying to accommodate them. They'll use you as a personal servant. My mother and sister both have Leo ascendants. They're both lazy as heck and order me to do things for them, calling me lazy the entire time in the process. And don't get me started on the Leo janitor I worked with... she was always trying to get me to mop the floors for her. I was a baker. Lol!
Just do whatever you want.

Haha! My Dad is a Virgo and his girlfriend is an Aries. His girlfriend's daughter is also an Aries! I'm always pushed and shoved around to do things (Aries) and do them right. (Virgo) It's too much for the poor crab (me, Cancer) to handle. :P
My Dad's girlfriend, even though I cannot cast her chart--she doesn't know her birth time, she has a lot of Virgoan traits as well.

Re: Indication of laziness in a natal chart?
Lots of trines and sextile's in a chart could do the thing,if there isn't any drive-push sign or planets in those signs to pull the energy.

Taurus can be rather slower than lazy and take things easy, this is more placidity and fixity. They dont like to be rushed and take their time.
It is true that yang signs are more active such as the fire and air elements but each chart has to be taken on its own merits.

I agree with Sun and Moon in harmony the person's inner and outer world
are as one and they do better with relationships as a rule. No motivation to change and this can produce what is seen as laziness.

Re: Indication of laziness in a natal chart?
Chris,
I agree with a lot of what's been said here. I'm thinking that you might feel as if you were lazy with Moon in Taurus but it could be that you take a slower, more sensual approach to things. (Taurus isn't going to be rushed, especially as a fixed sign, no matter where it is in your chart.)
The other thing that caught my eye was your Saturn in Pisces and your Venus in Gemini. Your Pisces placement might mean that you don't feel safe in the world which could lead to depression, which is often what people call "laziness." If this were the case, as you work on safety and trust, you would find that there would be energy and less anxiety when making choices.
The same could be said about Venus in Gemini, which could provide you with too many choices (I'm thinking about the Venus sensuality ruling Taurus as well) and so you respond to overstimulation by shutting down. Lilith in Gemini gives you concentration with communication, and may ground Gemini, but I think it could also make you feel at odds with yourself, and unable to choose a direction or path.
Maybe, maybe not -
Max
