Generations and the Outer Planets

On another thread, I libeled two whole generations of Americans. Someone cordially called me out on it and since it is a legitimate question, here’s my argument.

This all started years ago, when people kept referring to my peers and I as “Boomers.” We are nothing like Boomers. Then they started referring to us as “Gen X.” We are nothing like them either. Imagine my shock while surfing the internet one day back in 1998 and I stumbled across an article by sociologists claiming that my peers and I are “Tweeners.” The astonishing thing is that they had successfully replicated a study conducted years earlier by sociologists which proved that people born between 1960 and 1967 have a set of beliefs and values that do not even come close to matching those of the Boomers or the Gen X group and so they labeled us as Tweeners.

Is there an astrological basis for this? Yes, definitely.

So in the Heavens we have these conjunctions, T-Squares, oppositions and things happening with the planets, and there are grandiose claims that these affect “Earth.” Well, no they don’t. The way these things manifest themselves is through the individual in a natal chart, and through a collective group in a country chart.

For example Neptune is transiting Cancer, so we have rebellions in Mexico and China and Einstein proposes his Theory of Relativity. Those events were incidental to Neptune transiting Cancer, not caused by Neptune transiting Cancer. Einstein came up with his Theory of Relativity while Neptune was transiting his 12th and 1st Houses, making, um, “scary” squares to Mercury ruling his 12th, Saturn ruling his 7th, 8th and 9th Houses and Venus ruling his 5th House of sex? No, creativity.

The rebellions in China and Mexico (and also the 1st and 2nd Balkan Wars with Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Greece, Croatia etc) are indicated by Neptune transiting certain houses in the charts of those countries, as well as the leaders of the rebellions and their followers in their natal charts.

Obviously then, it’s important to have the correct country chart when looking at a collective group. When we rectify a natal chart, we often look at the transits of the outers to narrow down the time. That works for older people (the 35+ crowd) because typically Uranus, Neptune and Pluto have changed signs and/or houses. That doesn’t work so well for younger people when those planets have not traveled very far.

Without side-tracking this discussion, the only possible Ascendant for the US is Sagittarius, since it is the only rising sign that conforms to the transit of the outer planets (even though the Sibley Chart has Sagittarius-rising the chart is invalid and totally useless).

I apologize if this discussion is a little ethno-centric, but I hope everyone can learn from it.

Anyone participating in internet forums knows that Canadians smirk and scream “gun culture” every time there is a school shooting in the US. The next time a Canadian gets uppity, Americans should point out the following undisputed facts:

1) The very first school shooting in North America took place in Canada;

2) Canada, with a current population of 30 Million has had 10 school shootings;

3) America with a current population of 300 Million has had 78 school shootings;

4) Your child has a 22% greater chance of getting shot in a Canadian school (the ratio of shootings is 1 per 3 Million for Canada and 0.78 per 3 Million in the US).

So, why is/was there a seemingly epidemic of school shootings in the US?

Let’s go back to the Boomers, Tweeners and Xer’s.

Pluto was in Leo from 1940 to 1960, and then it moved into Virgo. That is why there is a difference between Tweeners and Boomers.

Neptune was in Libra from June 1944 to August 1960, and then it moved into Scorpio. That is why there is a difference between Tweeners and Boomers.

Uranus moves a little faster, but it suffices to say that Uranus did not move into Leo until 1960.

So why are Tweeners different than Gen Xer’s? It’s very simple really, as Tweeners had Uranus in the US 9th House, while Gen Xer’s had Uranus in the US 10th House.

And then Pluto moved into the US 10th House and that is why Gen Xer’s are the “Me, Myself, and I” Generation. 10th House (Status) is very important to them.

What happens when Neptune is in the US 1st House and Uranus in Scorpio in the US 12th House?

The symbolism is obvious and that is your school-shooters. Canada had a school shooting and then none for about 75 years before they had a group of 4 over a period of about 14 years. I don't know the Canadian country chart, but it would be interesting to see what was going on over that 14 year period.

From 1983 to 1991 you had Uranus and Neptune in the US 1st House and Pluto in the US 12th House.

Seriously, it is necessary to explain the green hair, butt-ugly tattoos and faces pierced with 3 tons of aluminum? That’s your Uranus/Fire/1st House individualistic non-conformist rebellious attitude (with delusions of grandeur courtesy of Neptune). It’s also the self-centered egotistical me-first attitude.

I saw a lot of that on a credit forum that I used to moderate a few years back. I actually posted e-mails from students so the other MODs could get a good laugh. Students would send me e-mails and then send e-mails demanding to know why I hadn’t responded to their first e-mail they sent (and I was exaggerating when I said 30 seconds but I did get an e-mail 3 minutes and 49 seconds after the first wanting to know why I hadn’t responded). It wasn’t my office hours, and even if it had been, my job isn’t to respond to e-mails within 3 nanoseconds.

The impatience was overwhelming sometimes on the credit forum. "We found our dream home and need to raise our credit score from 680 to 714 to get a mortgage." And if someone didn't respond within a few minutes they'd start bumping the thread, "Is anyone there?" "Help!" "Help Please!" etc etc.

And then when you told them it would take 30 days, they'd scream until they started frothing at the mouth and fell over backwards, "It's our dream home, we'll lose it and never have another chance. We deserve it." Um, you have 22 years, you deserve it? Yeah right. Well the law says 30 days, it isn't our fault and we didn't right the law. Complain to your legislator if you don't like it. A while back I was talking with an Admin on a different credit site (all the Admins and MODs knew of each other and were friendly for the most part). I'm thinking maybe we helped cause the mortgage crises in the US by helping the 12th House Pluto and 1st House Uranus/Neptune people get mortgages they either couldn't handle or didn't deserve.

Anyway they’re a really impatient generation (again Uranus in the 1st House) and you can see that here on this forum:

“What’s the name of that planet?”
“That’s Mercury”
“What’s that sign?”
That would be Libra”
“Okay I’m ready to do horary.”
“Uh, wut?”

But there is hope for the future with the current [US] generation being born, since Pluto is in Capricorn in the US 2nd House and Uranus and Neptune are in Libra in the 2nd/3rd House

Those of you who are interested in looking at the Generations in your country, use your country natal chart and look at past and current events where Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are transiting.

As in example, in the Sagittarius-rising US natal chart that I use (not Sibley), Pluto enters the US 9th House, which represents science, religion and the judiciary. What do we see when Pluto hits the 9th House Cusp?

Truman desegregates the military, Jackie Robinson breaks the color barrier in baseball, and as Pluto continues to kill, transform and regenerate during its transit, there's a whole slew of court cases involving civil rights and the plight of Negros in American is transformed as well as the way Americans view and treat the Negro population, religion in the US is radically changed forever (the start of decline), and science takes a great leap forward.

That's the collective, the individual manifestation is based on personal natal charts. People who had Pluto in their natal chart conjunct, sextile or trine to Pluto in the US chart (house to house not planet to planet) are going to be agreeable and part of the transformation process, while those that had Pluto in their natal chart in square or in opposition to Pluto in the US chart would be resistant to such changes.

You can see that now in Greece. What happened to the working class in Greece? Nothing until Pluto entered Capricorn in Greece's 6th House and then started squaring natal Pluto in Greece's 4th House, with transiting Uranus in the 10th House (and in my scheme Uranus rules Virgo so it all makes perfect sense). What will happen when transiting Uranus opposes natal Uranus very soon? The Generations born now in Greece will be affected by the positions of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Those Greek children will have a very different view of the world and their relationship to other countries as Pluto moves into Greece's 7th House, and that Generation will be different from the Generation with Pluto in the 6th House.
