Re: I have never felt lonlier

Transiting Saturn has been in your first house. It's finally left retrograde status thankfully and it now moving forward again.

It's much better if you post a free chart from astro.com as this shows the aspect grid and much more info

Noticeably T Pluto has/is conjunct Neptune and opposite natal moon...

"This combination represents the extraction of emotional support by powerful or manipulative means. This is often a time of intense emotional struggles in your relationships, particularly with women. You may have a tendency to be too possessive and not allow your partner enough freedom, or you may have problems with others trying to control you, either through emotional blackmail, guilt, or some other form of manipulation. You may feel that no one cares or supports you at this time and that you must go it alone. On a physical level, your home or foundation may be in need of repair."
http://www.astrology-x-files.com/tra...o-op-moon.html

Pluto conj neptune is also a generational thing, whereby you focus on religion, spiritual idealism (neptune) and renewing your thoughts and beliefs (pluto)

T Uranus (aries) is coming to a square with moon which may cause a sudden break or problems with mother and/or women to.

Furthermore, when T Saturn (middle august) gets to 2' Libra this will also square your Moon. This may cause financial hardships, emotional withdrawal and problems as to how your earn your money (saturn in2nd) and your career (moon in 10th)

"This is a time when your personal needs and your responsibilities to others are at odds with eachother. For instance, your employer may be especially demanding now and insist that you work late, and by the time you get home, your loved ones are unhappy you weren't home for dinner on time and that you're too tired to want to do anything else. The result is that you begin to drift away from others emotionally and may feel lonely or alienated from your loved ones."
http://www.astrology-x-files.com/tra...n-op-moon.html

At the same time T Saturn will square N Neptune and this is a 'fear of the unknow' and depressive transits to unfortunately. So prepare well

http://www.astrology-x-files.com/tra...p-neptune.html

Your Neptune is a singleton and only planet in earth, which your chart lacks this energy.

Re: I have never felt lonlier

I also think that there is a connection to the fact that your Sun has progressed to Cap, very recently. (I never underestimate the power of the progressed Sun) I remember when my Sun progressed from Aquarius (a very social sign) to Pisces (a very introspective sign). It was like a door clanging shut: I simply withdrew for a period and very suddenly. I also had some Piscean related troubles for a spell, but on the positive side I explored my spiritual life in greater depth. In your case, Progressed Sun is almost exact with natal Neptune, which may account for your sense of isolation, and it is happening in your IC which may explain your lack of communication with your family.
Capricorn is one of the most serious of the signs in temperament. Perhaps you are transitioning to a more responsible hard working phase of your life. These transitions can be difficult, but once the adjustment has been made, things tend to go a little easier.
You also have Mars progressing exactly to natal Pluto. If you put any stock into Pluto, then you may expect a little volatility in your life, particularly as it applies to your personal value system. Are you graduating from college soon or something?

Re: I have never felt lonlier

sistermoon, well spotted,
But not only is prog sun 2' Cappi more importantly it's conj dreamy Neptune. You may find you need more sleep

"Progressed Sun conjunct Neptune A drifting and perhaps moody period enables you to get in touch with your dream world and pull some things up from your depths that had been waiting for a daylight audition. It's a good time for making promises that can be put off, and a bad time for writing down your personal direction in stone. Let things gel and crystallize, before you sign."

Re: I have never felt lonlier

Sistermoon,

That is pretty spot on. I have been trying to get in touch with my inner self.. I have only recently been reading books on destiny, faith, fate... And othe self help material. It is acting as a sense of freedom fo me and my mind is taking over my body andthr events around me. As for uni, after 5 long years I am finally finishing at the end of this year. Only have 2 subjects left after this semester. Looking for a job is proving ot be hard, isn't it supposed to be easier with a special piece of paper?

Though I do have today my urge to drink and let myself free has also increased, this might be due to the increased efforts I m putting into day to day things. I have to say I have had a few drinks over the past few years because of the social aspect of uni but this urger to drink now is of freedom and not so much leasure.

On the other hand, I have been lacking a lot of sleep over the past few months, even from the strart of the year.

I uderstand keeping in touch with my inner self is a strong witholding part of life I should embrace, but in the mist ofthis whY happens if I do not find a soulmate? What if I too caught up in being serious on life?, will there be a moment in this serious forthcoming in my life where I will have the confidence and social ability to meet someone?

Sorry about the spellin mistakes I'm typing this up on my phone.

Thanks for the feedback and it's good to see I and others are learning from this post. Keep em coming!

Re: I have never felt lonlier

Your drinking is probably due to the Neptune influence I mentioned in my first post (P Sun conjunct Natal Neptune), but hey there's nothing wrong with a drink or two now and then as long as you're not turning into a drunk. Which can happen when Neptune's involved. And you've got a healthy dose of it with P Sun conjunct natal Neptune, and T Neptune conjoining T Chiron in your 6th. So I would lay off the booze if you want to find a job!
I asked if you were graduating soon because of the aspects in your 2nd house (values) and the Cap progression which to me signify a transition towards a life of greater responsibility. I can't imagine you not finding a life partner with that sort of energy going on! And the good news is that this is supported by the fact that TJupiter conjunct Uranus is travelling through your 7th so you might meet someone in an unlikely place and it could happen very quickly.

Re: I have never felt lonlier

Transiting Uranus square natal Moon (tense, uneasy etc.) and it's dancing through your 7th house of relationships (along with TR Jupiter) square natal Neptune, BUT trining natal Saturn, about to trine natal Mercury then Sun.

Yes indeed, there are plenty of transits. Those transiting Uranus trines will be a nice strengthening force though, and the Mercury trine soon then Sun will allow you to harness some of that difficult energy.

TR Saturn through your 1st though is something I've been researching on lately to verify AC, and I can tell you that that is going to responsible for a lot of the perceived loss of things e.g. friends etc. which, according to the research I did on it, (paraphrasing) you lose the things now you don't need later on. The transit of Saturn below the horizon of your chart through houses 1-3 in particular are a quietening of the soul, where you have to build inner resources for later on.

Research the aspects that most ring bells, information is the cure to fear.
And you're not the only oddball in college (natal Sun trine Saturn exact means I've verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry different values to my compatriots, who on occasion I really don't like - can't stand the follies of youth.)

Re: I have never felt lonlier

Thanks for the insite mate..

I understand Saturn is the teacher but.. The fact that it is taking everything I have spent years on building like friendships, relationship with my paretns, brother is a little unfair.. You mention that I might not need certain things that I leave behind now.. Well....... I'll be lonely forever!! I went for a job interview today and hopefully that goes all well so I can work and build up a few new friendships.. It's a Friday night and I'm at home.... Watching tv... lol I'm either in the library or watching tv.. Though I have to say I have kind of starting to women a little more.. Rekindling a few old friendships.. But it's hard to meet new people when I don't have a social life at the moment..

I don't like Saturn..

Re: I have never felt lonlier

rk85, I don't date men that look like a dash.

You realize Pluto in Capricorn is opposing your natal Moon, right?

Pluto's slow and destructive--and your Moon rules your 11th (friendships), represents your mother and your general health. Judging from the strength of your Moon it seems as though you'll come out of it well.

My take is that this has very little to do with Saturn in general. I mean really, Mars rules your 3rd (siblings) and Pluto is forming an in-sign square to your Mars in Libra. When a planet enters the sign that aspects another sign (regardless of orb), that energy will begin to manifest and gets stronger as the orb gets tighter.

I can't yet pinpoint if your brother's issues are Mars or the Moon, but I'm guessing both. Here's the reality: Pluto will lift off of your Moon soon because the retrogradation will bring it back for some time, but it will eventually separate from your Moon's orb at 2* Cancer and it will apply in a square to your natal Mars in Libra, which happens to be in late Libra--which means when Pluto progresses into late Capricorn--you'll see the greatest effect on your siblings. In other words, Mom should be ok but you have to keep an eye on your brother. Note: I don't actually know the situation with your brother.

If this is any consolation, Mars is disposed by Venus and they are both in detriment but both in mutual reception. When Pluto squares your Mars it will also sextile your Venus--which is your Mars' dispositor. In the end your siblings should be alright too.

Preferring good men to dashingly handsome ones,

Catatonia

RK, sometimes it is good, with difficult Saturn transits, to simply see it as a time to retract (limit) and rebuild, it's sort of like "getting to know yourself and rebuild yourself" period.

Yes, this is exactly what I've been going through the last 2 years or so! I know! It's like what happened?! I finished school on a high, I succeeded in many things and was really going places...but not too long after, it started slowing down, even though I was more ambitious than ever! Then the loss of friends...college got shaken then I became totally obsessed with getting college on track and keeping it going, that's come out well. Yes, I've lost lots, but descriptions of TR Saturn over the AC that I've read say that things you won't need for your next life stage e.g. friend (certain ones, not all of them, and usually not good friendships) you lose...Also about building inner resources for the future I read...I FINALLY get that now...Plus, yes, I cut out relationships completely...I rarely...you know, and quite a departure from before! It's all me me me but in a weird way.

Re: I have never felt lonlier

Byjove, Congrats ----for posting links --- you're my kinda member

Transits
I use--- 1° approaching, 1° exact and 1° departing. If you click on the link listed below for the online ephemeris it will list all planets at any given time. Learning astrology is like learning a new ‘language’ and obviously the more effort you put into something the more your knowledge and understanding will increase. All transits act as ‘background’ influences through a house, until it makes a mathematical aspect to a planet inside or an Angle.

For 'timings' I would look to the retrograde hit as the most important trigger, then look to see what the quicker planets are doing especially mars & mercury --

http://cafeastrology.com/transits.html
http://cafeastrology.com/transits_2.html
http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/transits18.0.htm
http://www.astro.com/faq/fq_fh_transits_e.htm
http://www.astro.com/astrology/in_transits_e.htm
http://www.astro.com/swisseph/ae/2000/ae_2009.pdf
http://www.khaldea.com/kldaephem/2000/oct2009gmt.shtml
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/learn-astrology/astrology-glyphs.php
http://www.dkfoundation.co.uk/dkfoundation/BookTransitsAndProgressions.htm

Now it's more important to focus on transits from Jupiter to Pluto (poss mars as this is the ignition key)and these planets when aspecting something in your natal chart 'set off' the difficult or nice 'aspects - potential - problems' that your chart expresses. By that I mean if a benefic planet like Jupiter hits/touches/transits your venus, mars or uranus these could be experienced very pleasantly. BUT if your natal venus is afflicted, or badly aspected say conj saturn then jupiter will not has such a good effect. It all depends on how the natal planet is 'aspected'

For me I would say external 'events' must be seen by transits, progressions or Solar arcs to Angles ie: Asc/Desc & MC/IC most other times these events are 'internal, psychological matters as in between the ears'

Now astro.com uses a much wider orb, possibly something like 5° or even 10° that’s why when you use the free transit forecast service a transit goes on for months and months. BUT common sense should tell you when the transit is ‘exact’ then it’s at the strongest. Some astrologers swear by 1° approaching produces ‘events’ some say the 1° exact, some say 1° off for triggering events. I personally look to the exact and 1° off for ‘timings’ especially the retrograde hit (backwards hit)

This last website link is rather nice because it gives interpretations of what the ‘Lord’ of the house cusp ruler means ie: T Jupiter sextiles natal sun, so wherever Leo rules in your chart is connected to the area this transit will be affecting –

Here is something cool I found about Saturn that might cheer you up some, come you some credit for yourself!

Saturn is linked to depression because of the cloud of self-doubt it casts. But Saturn builds faith in yourself, since you’ve got to walk through the “dark night of the soul” to overcome these mysterious built-in pressures, fears, losses, etc. - http://astrology.about.com/od/advanc...y/p/Saturn.htm

perhaps it's worth focusing on the building process and letting Saturn be your reminder through virtue and principle and a sense of higher judgement that all things will work out in your favor if you simply let the process work it's magic on you.

That sounds like a very positive realisation about your `friends', rk85! I hope you can see that this is in fact a good thing. Who needs friends who are not true friends?

I think that Pluto's opposition to your Cancer Moon - which rules your 11th house of friends, groups to which you belong, and females - is creating some major changes and transition in your life - all of which you will eventually see as beneficial.

From a book which I have found very useful when it comes to the transits of the outer planets: "The Gods Of Change", by Howard Sasportas, comes this quote about how a man may experience harsh Pluto transits to natal Moon (and Moon in Cancer is actually a very sensitive Moon placement):

"A man is likely to feel unusually touchy, over-reactive and over-sensitive at this time. He might be surprised at the kinds of emotions he discovers in himself...............................
this transit hits and he feels anxious, moody, irritable, distracted and no longer sure of himself."

What Sasportas then goes on to say is that transiting Pluto forces us to make changes which up-date us, rather than continuing to run our lives on the same tired old emotional script, itself which is based in early childhood, and not suited to the adult we have grown to be.

Re: I have never felt lonlier

RK85 your in the mdidle of a Saturn square moon transit cycle november 2009 march 2010 and august 2010
ANd you also had Pluto opposite your moon all of 2009 (feb09 june 09 dec 09)
Almost No one feels supported during a Saturn moon transit. We are being asked to find that adult in us to support that little boy/girl in us. Its a tuff ask. My moon is low degrees of cardinal so I know how you feel
Hang in there and try to be kind to that emotional side of yourself and give it time and be supportive of it even when it does not live up to your expectations
Good luck and hang in there and tell yourself your doing a good job
