Can a ''Happy Birthday'' message reunite us?
Hi there all!!!
Here's the deal.
Two days ago I sent a Happy Birthday mail to someone I haven't been in contact with for a long period of time (almost a year...)
She replied the day after saying thank you and giving me a very brief version of her news.
I replied back since her message was let's say friendly (mentioning that she too remembers my birthdate....)
My question is how she will respond to my mail. How will she take it inside and if that mail will prone her to have a chat with me over the phone or via internet.
Here's my take on the chart.
I am Sun /squaring Mars in 12th. I think that describes me in the sense that I want to reconnect in a deeper level with him (Sun in the 4th trines Moon in the 7th) although I know this is not really easy (Sun squaring Mars in 12th).
He is Saturn in the 3nd (planets 5 deg before the cusp of a house act as if they were in the next house) transiting from Virgo to Libra and sextiling Mars. He must be occupied with work developements (Mars ruling his 10th).
Sun is parting from a semisextile (not a ptolemaic aspect I know) but I sent the original message 4 days ago (Sun has moved 4 degrees from Saturn)
Moon is in the 7th trining Venus. Venus is the indicator of my communication so he must have received it with joy. Right? Mercury too traditional planet of communications is trined by Moon so I think I am right about him receiving joy from the message.
My take is that he will reach me using the net (he is abroad) in 4 days from now (when Moon trines Mercury) or in 9 days from now (when Moon trines the Sun).
What I also think is that I wont be available when he tries to reach me because Mars (communication from abroad and the indicator of his communication)sextiles Saturn in my 2nd.
No idea about Horary I'am afraid......
What do you think?
Thanks
A.

Re: Can a ''Happy Birthday'' message reunite us?
Hello Athan! Well, it certainly does not look like you not knowing about horary! You did a pretty good interpretation, what I mean, you looked at things the horary way! Whether it is correct or not, we will see.
You are Sun, ingoing square Mars. Now Mars rules your 4th house, your foundations so maybe , psychologically seen, you are not comfortable with how you are. Mars also rules your Sun and you possibly prefer to keep secret about this or you like to stay away from the crowd.
He is Saturn in this chart and he is in a critical degree but soon will feel much better due to the fact that he will enter his sign of exaltation.
Your message to him is Venus in Libra, so that was a pretty powerful message but Venus is in the Via Combusta, as is the traditional ruler of communication Mercury, so even though that message was a lovely (Venus in Libra) gesture of you, I dont think it has understood the underlying message. He probably was happy to receive your message as Venus is in his sign of exaltation (or this means that you expected too much of the return answer), but as Venus is under the Sunbeams and also in the Via Combusta, and Mercury really combust by the Sun, everything you wanted to convey is probably not seen by him (being under the sunbeams takes the light away of the other planets. They become sort of invisible. So he might not have gotten the impression that you would like to go on contacting him via phone or internet maybe.
His 3rd house of communication is ruled by Mars and in his 6th house and you, Sun, will square it, so it will be difficult for you to make further contact with him I think.
Having said that, Mars will conjunct the Ascendant, so maybe he will eventually contact you in about 6 days or weeks . Cadent house is slow after all but Mars is strong in Leo. Also there is mutual reception by rulership between Mars and the Sun, so I think that eventually, you will contact one another again.
The angles here are all fixed which often shows a YES in a horary.
Good luck! Starlink

Re: Can a ''Happy Birthday'' message reunite us?
Hi there Starlink!
Thank you for your answer!!!!
You are perfectly right in your description of my current state being not so comfy with myself and keeping away from the crowd. And I think that this is the reason why it will be difficult for me to make contact with him. Sun squaring Mars makes me wanting to let the matter die in a way...
I understand Venus and Mercury in via combusta not being able to convey the exact meaning of my message...but it strikes me a bit odd since I clearly wrote that I would like to have a chat with him whenever that would be possible....So I mean he has understood what I want! The fact that he is in a critical degree could mean that communicating is not possible for him yet...but if I have understood you correctly he is not really negative of the idea, right???
I guess we will wait and see...as always!!!
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks again Star

Re: Can a ''Happy Birthday'' message reunite us?
Hi there Star.
Just a follow up on the chart. The day after I asked the question he sent me an email saying that he would like indeed to have a chat with me. His message was sent exactly 39 hours after the chart was cast!
I wonder if such a minor detail could be seen in the chart...
If we count 39 degrees from the Moon that leads us to 4 deg Aries. Moon then trines Mars in Leo. Mars is his communication being activated by the Moon in his 3rd house. But both planets are in cadent houses (9th, 12th) which as you said are slow...so that doesn't explain the short period of 39 hours...Right?
Am I overanalysing here or a bit out of horary thinking track?
Happy Athan

Venus doesn't get burnt in the Libra half of the via combusta

This is also new to me Olivia. Thanks for letting us know. Of course it sounds very logical, Venus being in her own sign and Saturn in his sign of exaltation. I had not read about this. Very good to know!
I am also surprised, like Athan, about the Moon in a cadent house. John Frawley says that a planet in a cadent house can act fast only when the planet itself is able to act, in other words, strong. I dont find Moon very strong here to be honest. She is in a fixed (slow) sign as well. However, it is probably due to the fact that she is swift in motion? and that Moon is still in the 7th, so accidentally dignified as well, but in term of Mars.(would a Mars influence hurry her up? I doubt it).
Moon is also about to enter the 8th house and into a sign where Moon is peregrine.... wonder what that will entail? And I dont get my head around the ingoing square from Sun to Mars (his message). Any idea what that could mean Olivia?
But I am glad for you Athan!
Cheers, Starlink

Re: Can a ''Happy Birthday'' message reunite us?
It's been almost 4 months since the chart was cast and he hasn't communicated! (not even by a forwarded email..)
Just to let you know about the outcome....
Athan.
