About 6 weeks ago, Dec 4th, 2009 I had major surgery. My upper lobe of the right lung was removed. Recovery has been slow and I'm having some pretty bad depression. Along with this, I'm unhappy with my living situation (daughter and her boyfriend living here right now) and my finances, about like a lot of people's right now, are really bad.

Can anyone tell me if any of my situation will improve anytime soon or get worse?

I greatly appreciate any information anyone can share with me.

Near future home situation improves. Starting last week this month, you are likely to feel improvement for at least 2 months.

You should be able to convey your ideas as well as feelings effectively during this period to make things better. It is important to convey.

Hi Kaybug-long time no see.
Gosh you have been going through it havent you?
Mars is ruler of your ascendant and illness, sixth house. So everything Mars does will be significant for you. As we know, Mars is retrograde for about a month longer, so maybe Mars going direct signifies a change for you. I looked at transits to your natal over the next few months.
At the moment mars is going backwards through the ninth but it will turn direct before reaching your eighth (phew!) Mars is also going to oppose your natal venus, co ruler of your sixth house of illnesses-this may make things a little worse, before they get better.(early Feb)
When Mars squares your natal moon at the end of January, you may feel a bit fatigued-Don't overdo things, especially as the transiting sun will square your ascendant around Feb4th. However retro Tr mars will also be sextile to your natal mars at that time which could help. The TR.sun's opposition to N Pluto also could bring up a few final things to be attended to healthwise.
I have to say, Kay, that as I look at yout transits I am wondering if there will be a need for another surgery-not as big as the last one, but something corrective..Tr venus will also be conjunct natal jupiter at the same time around early Feb..Thats usually good, but Venus co rules your sixth and Jupiter tends to expand things..
I'm wondering if your surgery was tumour related as Jupiter often is associated with tumours and yours is in Saturns sign.
Saturn is wending its way through your 11th house and will meet up with Mars there
20/09/2010 Saturn CONJUNCT Mars. This aspect can be present during important surgery. Saturn is exalted in Libra, but your Mars is weakened by being in Libra.As Mars rules your asc. this weakens your consitution, and I'm aware you've had ongoing health problems over the last 3 years I've known you.

Hi Lilly...it has been along time, so glad to hear from you!!! Thank you so much for all the information.

Yes, it was a tumour. I had a cancer tumor in the upper lobe of my right lung. The entire lobe was removed. The tumour had not metastasized and was confined to itself and the tissue around it. I am now cancer free but I also know you can't beat lung cancer. You might get more time, a little or alot, but that's about it. My Mother died from lung cancer, so it's in my genes too. I have no fantasy hopes about this.

I am curious though as to whether the possible upcoming surgery will be related to my lungs or my carotid arteries. I have blockages in both the left and right. I was suppose to have an ultrasound of both of them back in October to see how much more blockage there was but didn't get to it with the other hanging over my head. Will get that taken care of soon.

dhundhun.....Thank you for the information. I can certainly use all the good news I can get. I have been considering changing some things around in my house to better accommodate 3 people instead of just me as I was living alone (happily) before my surgery. I had been waiting, because I didn't know what my daughter and her boyfriend were going to do. My daughter has just recently told me she isn't planning to leave home again as she was not happy living at her boyfriend's Father's house.

So, I am going to assume it is a good time to tell them we need to move some things around and fix more space for some things. Both of them are out of a job and have been for a few months now. Unemployment here is 11% but I believe in reality it is much higher.

Yes, further surgery could indeed relate to the carotid...mars is in leo and leo does rule the circulatory system.

I also want to encourage you to deep breathe
For a few reasons:
Deep breathe and then push out the air hard, like you are pushing away your stresses...picture them being blown away

This will help to decrease stress (hopefully )
Increase lung expansion
Increase oxygen exchange to help you heal better/faster
Decrease lung secretions
Decrease pain

Right now my head is full of so much, so reading a transit right now wouldnt make any sense
But I still wanted to let you know I care and hugs and smiles are one their way!!!
