moving to San Francisco!

At long last, my husband and I are relocating next week to San Francisco, after 12 years here in northern New Mexico - we have been working on getting a superb, low-key apartment management position(the only way we could really afford to live there)since Memorial Day. This matter was finally resolved just 9 days ago when we returned from our final, just-a-formality interview and being shown around our new digs! We are so-o excited - we will be pulling out of here on the 10th, and expect to be there by the 12th.
Awhile back, my astrologer looked into the relocation context for both myself and my husband, and indicated that San Francisco(or Portland OR for that matter would work out well for both of us. For a little while we were seriously conisdering the Big Island of Hawaii, which again, my astrologer took a look at that and commented that that locale would work out way better for me than my husband. So we have come to a mutually-agreeable situation, and for a get-away, the Big Island is alot more accessible by air from San Francisco than here in New Mexico. It is a credit to our determination and other frugality that we pulled off two major trips to different parts of Hawaii in the space of 2.5 years.
In the whole time that we lived in New Mexico, the place that we went to the most often over the last 12 years was San Francisco, and we both really love it there and are hugely thankful right now that we get to go somewhere as beautiful, international, and cultured as that city is!
