Why am i so melancholic???

Hello all,

i have been feeling down and out for the past coupla months. I am normally the cheery happy one, but for a while now i can barely manage to get through a day without crying or whatever, backaches, depression at work/home, not as active with my friends, cold with my kids (although i literally tug myself to try and show them love as they are so innocent), serious stress while driving in traffic and literally race home paranoid and freaking out from thoughts about death.. I have gained some weight also as i am becoming a "emotional eater" YIKES, Not even my Saturn return did this to me...

so i want to know whats goin on? What i see is perhaps that TPluto is about to oppose my naatal Saturn and square my natal Pluto, while close to that time T Saturn will be squaring my natal Saturn and conjuncting my natal Pluto all around the same time...

How long does this take?? UGH!!

You seem to have missed prob the most important ie: T Uranus conj your Asc

Astro.com does a bi wheel showing progressed planets, solar arcs and transits-- this would have been more helpful for members to visually 'see' what is going on here.

Transits
astro.com has fee six month transit forecast plus when you get into Extended chart selection, look at the three tabs after calculating a chart under ‘method’ default is circular wheels (on left), middle is special charts and in their you get graphic ephemeris 1yr (or 5years) with natal = transits for 1yr and lots more. BUT you first must learn or memorise the 'glyphs' ie: shorthand for recognising what these maps/graphics mean.

For example when you post or reply to a chart the 'smilies' to the right and just under them [more] if you click on there it will bring up a whole loads of 'glyphs' Mercury Uranus conjunction (+or - 8') trine aspect 120' Libra

It created a temporary Grand Cross, squared my Moon, then sun then venus then mercury. So I divorced my 2nd husband for 2nd time, Uranus just wants it's freedom, independence and will walk away rather than fight things out...

It may well be that your progressed moon is conj your Saturn-- this can cause emotional withdrawal and depression

T Uranus challenge,square your Moon(emotions and inner world)...but the consequences are unpredictable and I guess you know Uranus energy is electrifying and hard to handle.....
About the progressed Moon conjunct Saturn...I had that.....I felt the same....I was depressed....I have had read that this conjunction can make you feel depressed...but I can't find the article now....

First, Saturn was opposite your ascendant and now it's in your 7th house Libra. It could be that you are mirroring the feelings of others in your sphere, and they may be affecting you negatively, and therefore YOU are feeling badly.
Very few people nowadays are bubbly and carefree....it just may be the zeitgeist.

If your normal nature is positive, it will go back that way, depending upon progressions. If you do have a progressed moon conj. Saturn, that should pass in a few weeks.

Thank you all for your comments. I wanted to ask how you got that my progressed moon is conjuncting my natal saturn. When i did a progressed chart i got that my progressed moon was in libra conjunct my natal sun/uranus conjunction..perhaps i did something wrong....

Just guessing as this would be the first thing an astrologer would look for is what your progressed moon is doing.

Progressed Moon conjunct Uranus For a month or so you may find yourself responding to situations in unusual ways you might not have thought possible. Why waste time with the ordinary when you can try a completely new tack? In the process, it might be too easy to let harsh or untested opinions out of the box, so put a gentle hand on your approach.

Hello All,

i want to thank you for your aid. I visited a therapist...he diagnosed me with moderate depression and high anxiety. He has prescribed happy pills for me (Venlaflaxine). I am avoiding the pills for the timebeing. i will try to duke it out hopefully it will pass soon.
