She asked:"Will this love interest develop into a great love story?"
Ok, this was the question. "She" is the friend of a friend, a person with whom I speak from time to time, but who is not a friend of mine (yet). So I take the 7th for her. She met a guy recently through a friend of hers, and it felt like "love at first sight" - she says reciprocal. So now she asks if this is going to develop into a great love.
So, she is Jupiter in his triplicity and faces, he is Mercury in her terms: they receive each other good. But he is combust (does it mean unable to move or does it mean fonder of her than she, given also that he is the faster?). After the conjunction with Sun he will square Jupiter (he is already within moiety). Moon applies to an out of sign trine to Saturn (though technically void due to late degree, she is in Taurus so the restriction is limited and within moiety for the trine to Saturn). Moon is exalted but does not receive any of the two.
All angles are mutable (things will change), plus she has Uranus Rx on her Asc (she will be caught in a surprise). Overall I think the answer is negative, though I am doubtful whether Jupiter and Mercury can be considered Antiscia and thus alter the result. There is mutual attraction, but Moon will next aspect Saturn and this means troubles and delays.
What do you think? Can anyone help me round up the interpretation of this chart? Thanks

Re: She asked:"Will this love interest develop into a great love story?"
I don't like the combust Mercury either - nor do I like Moon on Algol. It could indicate somebody, probably her, 'losing her head' over the relationship - and she's already in a one-down position with the combustion.
I don't think he's the one for her, either, and given her lack of power and tendency to overblow things (not always, but in this chart), I'd tell her to give it a miss. I don't see good coming from it if they get involved.

Re: She asked:"Will this love interest develop into a great love story?"
I think you would want to have her as 1st and him as 7th and leave yourself out of it as this is a 'friend of a friend of a friend' I could turn the chart so many times my head would do the Exorcist thing and spin.
She is mercury and combust and he is Jupiter in the fifth? Okay maybe we should switch that back as jupiter sort of fits her if she is making google eyes at him
But back to this idea. She is mercury and combust by her 12th house ruler...(her fears and insecurities).?
He is in the fifth. They will meet by square but only once she passes through the sun. Thus the sun is an obstruction.
She is in 2nd of self-worth...not good house. He is in fifth ...good house. He is peregrine.
Oh...north node on 5th ...fate is in there.
Algol is at 26'10 Taurus. I think it is effective with in a degree but we can give the warning just the same not to lose her head.
The moon will trine saturn in her house just as it is changing signs so we might say it is not void. Saturn rules her fifth.
But Saturn in the first is not so good and may spell dissappointment.
If we use Saturn as just another co signifactor of her it does not tell us much as she accept she may have a lover. But again she will have to get through the obstruction.

Re: She asked:"Will this love interest develop into a great love story?"
First of all, if she asked the question, you are removing yourself from the chart. She is assigned the ascendant. And the way the question is phrased is a little superfluous, I'm going to assume she's asking if there's going to be a significant relationship.
So she is Mercury, and he is Jupiter.
Uranus in the seventh house would accurately describe what you've said, an immediate intense connection, however it doesn't suggest anything long term and stable. Uranus in the seventh suggests a lot of ups and downs, excitement, and a short-lived electric relationship. So if she considers that a 'great love story' then the answer is yes.
North node in fifth house looks good for romantic affairs.
I see numerous indications of a good love affair, but nothing long term.

Re: She asked:"Will this love interest develop into a great love story?"
One source I read regarding algol said that this fixed star is so malefic and powerful that it is actually given an orb of 5 degrees, so the Moon is well under its influence.

I would be interested in your source.
Horary Plain and Simple by Anthony Louis :
"...

for the list of the handful of fixed stars I pay attention to in horary analysis. I only consider them when they conjoin a significator within one degree

" pg 164.
The list includes Algol, Alcyone, Regulus, Vindemiatrix, Spica, Serpentis.
Of course there is lots more.

Re: She asked:"Will this love interest develop into a great love story?"
William Lilly's Christian Astrology - he assigns a -5 in accidental dignity to anything within five degrees of Algol.
I personally give it 2 - 3 degrees from experience.

Re: She asked:"Will this love interest develop into a great love story?"
Hey, you are all so great!
Not only you wrapped up the meaning of this chart, but I learnt in the meantime a couple (at least) of new things at the same moment! Thank you all!
I will try to give her a warning, to give at least a little time to the story to unfold and not jump head down on it, she has only seen the guy a few times (and only now been properly introduced) and already seems to expect the great love of her life... I see what Algol is about here and kind of scared me...
I know her natal chart (late Libra rising) I tried to tell her that things will be changing in the next couple of years but the development of new things/relationships/structures in her life will be slower, first she must release things and make space, but she is a little bit deaf at the moment and I don't know her that good to tell her more... Plus I saw their synastry, his saturn sextiles her moon but her mars/saturn/uranus/chiron/pluto all square his venus+mars exact conjunction, and both neptunes aspect (by trine and square) each others' moon, I see how this can fire up but I can sense also how it can lead to broken hearts, and I really wish her something better.
In any case, thank you once again, you have all been great and helpful!

Re: She asked:"Will this love interest develop into a great love story?"
That's the one Olivia, thanks. And from personal experience where I drew up a chart showing this and I was conjunct Algol, I can say the situation ended up being very painful for me, unfortunately.
