First Time Posting Transit Chart

Next on my list is to learn about transits. I did this one for my natal chart today. My purpose is to look at job and love relationship. I think I see both - but I'm not sure. There are Moon trines with Merc and one with Moon and Saturn. Is this right?

I'm not sure how to look for work exactly, but something about Saturn's movement I believe. Any help please on these two topics?

Is this your natal chart? I thought you were Sagittarius because of your forum name.

Anyway, in reading/interpreting transits, I pay attention first to the activities of Saturn and Jupiter. Where Saturn is transiting is where to expect restriction and serious learning. In the 7th house, I'd say you'll be having a hard time about relationship issues. But if you survive that, you'll emerged stronger and wiser. Where Jupiter is transiting is where to expect expansion. In the 12th house, it can signify an expanded interest in astrology or the occult.

Incidentally, I can see Saturn is already above the horizon. This usually signifies a time for harvest. Whatever you learned from the past should now come handy and enable you to breeze your way through any problem. Hmm. I'd call it maturity.

Next, I'd look at the slow moving planets. Where Pluto is transiting is where to expect transformation or replacement of something established with something new. In the 10th house, something about the career will changed forever. Where Neptune is transiting is where you're likely to have illusions or an over expectation. Usually, the reading is in the form of a warning or caution. In the 12th, any astrologer would say that you should temper your beliefs with a touch of reality. Where Uranus is transiting is where to expect the unexpected.

Have you ever done a transit calendar from astro dienst? It's under special charts. I also am learning about transits & progressions.

The circular wheel is cool, but the calendar gives you exact dates of aspects. I've been looking at transits to any natal planet that aspects my midheaven. Also at my progressed midheaven. A quick glance at your chart reveals transiting Jupiter & Neptune (both natally in your 10th house) & Chiron in close aspect to your Moon in the first house. I see this as significant in your concerns about career. And that they are located so high on your chart natally & in aspect to the moon, could indicate something about love. What do you think?

From your transits I can see why this is on your mind, but I have found I get a clearer picture from the transit calendar.

Whoa, & your North node is next. I see this as an ideal time to expand your artistic abilities. And since your ruler of the second is involved, perhaps there's also money potential in this artistic endeavor? Maybe?

One other thing, I've contemplated your chart & see you have the hard aspect Moon square Jupiter. Soon, transiting Jupiter will both square your natal Jupiter & conjunct your natal moon. All of this with Aquarian energy! I think of this as a time when your emotions get heightened, but then settle. I see this as a synthesis of your emotional energy & how you've expressed it, expanded it in the outer world & your belief system. I see this as a good thing.

And, Jupiter rules your 10th house of career. And by transit, it's aspecting your natal Moon. I don't know, but I see this period of time as a period when you synthesize your beliefs about a career. Call me an optimist. But if you haven't found your calling after Jupiter is at 21 degrees Aquarius, or at least found your love, then I will give up astrological interpretation because I don't believe in it. You know what? I intuitively feel this for some reason. All that's in my head is work and love, work and love coming to me for some reason. Never felt this before. My life has been the opposite. LOL. But can u tell when Jupiter is at 21 deg Aquarius - a time frame? Because I will personally message you and tell you the good news then! Then BOTH of our faith in astro will be upheld. YAY! Do you mean the Transit Calendar with Progressions selection? I can see the calendar and while it looks interesting, I don't know exactly how to interpret it. ie: Pluto 1 conj. Merc in 12 from Oct 1-Feb 1. Is this how I read it?

You must memorise the 'glyphs' in astrology-- the shorthand for 12 signs, 10planets and mathematical aspects -- then it will all make sense.
Transiting Pluto in (t) not 1 conjuncts natal mercury in within those dates or something very similar. It usually gives the 'aspect' either conj, sext, opp, etc but using 'glyphs' and this is what you must learn and recognise.

May I suggest you read the 'sticky' at the top of ALL forums? It has some great explanations, links etc and also has links to forum rules & regs...At the top of every forum there are lots of ‘stickys’ which explain matters in that forum, along with guidelines, tips and forum rules

You can look at the transit calendar with progressions, but it's a bit more involved. While looking at my transits, I see a very clear & strong "inner world" focus, which is obviously important, especially when concerned about love &
career. I haven't gotten a good grasp on the progressions yet, but from
what I've experienced with those it's like outer world shining light, rather
light being shined on your outer persona, much unbeknownst to you, where transits are like light shining on the inner world & much more personal. But, of course, I'm not seasoned on these matters. Just saying what I think,

I feel Aquarian energy is unexpeted, totally strange. You never know what you're gonna get, but it's cool to know that in advance. Please report back on your life. I'm very excited about it.

Yes, I've read every one of Astro50's links and more, it's SO interesting!

I agree Aqua energy is unpredictable. I surprise even myself sometime. You are right. And I will definately report back, I feel good things coming to my life finally! Thanks for all your help and interest.

One thing we're both experiencing, is Saturn transit conjunct Pluto. I've heard that this one can go unnoticed. Saturn is structuring & Pluto is concentrating, I believe. This is happening in the 8th for both of us. I have been feeling/worried about a major transformation, but now I've accepted it & am moving on with my life.

Last time I experienced this I was 9 years old & had just started a new school in a new neighborhood. I started a whole new life & I was so happy, though I did get in trouble for fighting a lot!

I'm wondering if you have started to feel restricted (Saturn?), but out of it a feeling of rebirth (Pluto?). You have quite a few more transits than me going on, but this Saturn/Pluto could be the biggest. I'm curious what other astrologers say about this transit. I think this one will definitely increase our power (to start a new life??).

It would be really great to compare notes as we progress through this. I think you are in Japan? It's good knowing another person is going through the same things somewhere in the world.

Yes, I've heard the same for me. I'm hoping for us both.

I think a lot may have to do with Saturn, how it starts for both of us close to the nadir & after the return is moving "up" our chart again. I heard that this is the time we reap the rewards for hard work. Maybe peaking in the next 10 years?! However, I haven't done much hard work since my last return.
