What is karmic sense of Gemini?

Or, may be just "sense".

I understand the sense of Geminis opposite - Saggitarrius. It's sense is ideology - when you have ideology, you have purpose, and you can make this ideology true in real world, you can make principles you are after a reality.

And what is the sense of Gemini?

Gemini is running around, gathering the information, having experiences out of which a philosophy develops.
Gemini is getting all the dots on the paper and Sagittarius is connecting them.

But it means that Saggittarius has final goal("connect the dots in right way") and Gemini doesn't? Gemini should collect dots and information with some goal, some purpose?

The 'goal' of Gemini is to make the most of each moment, each conversation, each statistic, each interaction, by keeping it real, by keeping it honest, by making note of it, and experiencing it, being witness to it and living it , without any preconceived agenda or motive.

Good point, but I have a question - isn't "keep it real" - the Earth sign and "keeping it honest" - Saggittarius or Aquarius? As I know, Gemini is not to uncomfortable with lying

slava, it would be interesting if you were to share any underlying concern with actual Geminis in your life. Your two Gemini threads suggest this sign may strike "close to home" for you, or that Gemini may represent some "shadow" material to you. Note that everyone has Gemini in her/his horoscope, so the following apply to the house with Gemini on the cusp even for people with no planets in this sign.

Isabel Hickey, Astrology: A Cosmic Science, pp. 15-16. "Gemini is called the sign of the Twins but inwardly it represents the conscious mind....From the standpoint of the universal laws Gemini is the most important of the twelve signs for our earth....It represents the dual foces: the opposition of the human and the divine in all of us. In mythology this sign is represented by the two brothers, Castor and Pollux. One is the heavenly twin and the other is his earthly brother. Until the two are harmonized the law of opposites will continue to operate."

Alan Oken, Soul-Centered Astrology, 172-178, repeats the idea that the duality of Gemini esoterically means the earthly plus the heavenly. "It is the gathering of life experiences, based on the movement of relatedness and relationship, that is fundamental to Gemini...Gemini changes, mutates, and adjusts everything that is necessary for the evolution of the Soul, both in our individual lives and in our collective life as humanity....the house cusp upon which Gemini is located in your natal chart where these Soul-unfolding changes are most likely to come about...."

Jan Spiller, Astrology for the Soul (143-152), discusses the north node in different signs--i.e., the cutting edge and future of a sign's potential. She describes Gemini's goal of giving and receiving messages as sharing reality-based information, not intuitions that might be mistaken. "In this incarnation, Gemini North Node people are here to teach," and to do so without prejudices and pre-conceived value-judgements.

Of course not all Geminis live up to the ideal type for their sign, but then this is true of any sign.
