Can bad synastry be overcome?

I was wondering, when a synastry chart is bad or has bad aspects in it, is it always the case that the relationship will fail? Does anyone have an example of a successful relationship despite a bad chart?

personal choice

pixie,

Instead of thinking of aspects as being "good" or "bad", it might help to think of them as "easy" and "challenging". Easy aspects in a synastry can make things easy in a relationship, but perhaps then we don't pay enough attention to the other person...we just figure they will "always be there." Challenging aspects in synastry add tension, but they force the people to work out their issues with each other...or to give up on the relationship entirely. And, of course, easy aspects can make relationship problems easier to handle, while challenging aspects make relationship problems come to the surface. Like in all things in life, relationships take hard work from BOTH people in the relationship...no matter what their aspect connections are.

Relating,

Tim
