Will He Reply To My Message?

Ok,

So, to cut a long story short (or try to!). I sent a message of congratulations today to a man with whom I used to have a relationship (14 years ago). I was congratulating him because I saw from his Facebook profile picture that he (and his other half) have just had a baby. The man and I stopped talking to each other over a year ago now, because I couldn't come to terms with the fact that he had married not me, but another woman, and had moved to Australia.

So, anyway, after a year I sent him this sincere message of congratulations, and am just wondering whether he will bother to reply or not, and whether we will go on to have a proper, trusting friendship or not.

Ok, so I'm Mercury (fitting), he's Jupiter (also fitting). Mercury is applying to a square with Jupiter in 2 somethings. (Not good). There's no aspect between Sun/Moon, or Venus/Mars. Before Mercury/Jupiter, the Moon makes an applying semi-sextile to Mercury. I suppose that relates to the opportunity I've had to send out an olive branch to him with my congrats message.

In 1 something the Moon makes an applying sextile to Mars (him?). I guess this refers to the opportunity I have given him to reply. Perhaps he will check his messages then. In 3 somethings the moon will trine Jupiter. Now from that aspect, I would say it's a "yes" to him replying (but this guy is a bit flakey at the best of times so I would be surprised if he does).

Then the moon conjuncts Saturn. Hmmm, what does that mean here? Saturn rules H8, H9 & h10. Perhaps that means long-distance communication? Or something long-distance anyway. Or maybe relates to work of some type. I don't know.

Then, whammo! Moon opposes Uranus (boo!). I suppose that means set-backs, upheaval (and general disappointment to boot). Seems like we will break off communication again.

Also of note, is that the Moon will semi-sextile P. Fort in H3 in 1 something. This seems to indicate it will be rewarding for us to communicate.

Any more thoughts?

I think with the sextile of moon and mars (communication end of matter), and the trine to jupiter, yes, he will respond back. His third house of communications is conjunct your moon, yes you guys will communicate over the internet.. but the saturn ruling your ninth house symbolises the restriction of him living far away, I'm assuming that you're not close to australia. With the relationship end of matter saturn as well, I think this echoes yes you guys may communicate again but there's going to be that distance restriction from having a face to face friendship

Hmm, I wonder whether Saturn also symbolises that all this will play out over a long period of time.

And if P.F. is in his h9, maybe it is better for him to have started this new life in Australia, and communicate with me long-distance.

I looked at the dignities/rulerships of the significators last night. It seems like he (Jupiter) is mainly concerned with Mars at the moment. Mars rules my h6/his h12, and also h11/his h5 (as Aries is so firmly planted there). I would say this means he is concerned with the daily grind, and with his new baby then. He's not really thinking much of me.
