Montreal

I just came back from Montreal and I swear, every time I go, my regularly horrible luck turns right around there. In terms of people - all interactions are amazing, friendly, polite, lucky. This may just be the Montreal people, but is there more? I looked it up and found Mtl. to be a Sag city. I'm a Sag Sun, but my AstroClick Travel chart on astro.com shows no planet lines running through there. There must be more to it, I think?

Even my child commented, "wow, your luck is much better here." lol!

Re: Montreal

Here's an almost unknown method that often gives interesting answers to such puzzles:
-Make a midpoint composite using the Montreal "birth chart" and YOUR natal chart;
then analyze the composite (astro.com can erect such a chart) You might find that when you and that location are "melded" (ie when you are there physically) there might well be positive indications
I know that planetary lines and astrocartography are what 99% of those interested in this area use, but I'll tell you-I have come to like the composite method better! (another wild Dr. Farr idea!)

I totally agree with you. I think composites can be underrated and we should use them more often. I've often thought of events + natals - or horaries + natals to show interrelationships in a different perspective. I like this Wild Dr. Farr Idea.

I made the composite, but I don't find Saturn on my Asc very promising... It does rule 10th h in Regiomontanus though. Could this be positive at all? Moon is in a precarious, pitted state too. So that is odd. Maybe Venus in 5th, Leo made for the extra attention and the positive fun interactions there. Almost exact trine to Saturn. Nice.

Re: Montreal

Summer92: try making a composite between London's natal chart and yours, as I suggested SagiCap to do: it might be interesting!

Re: Montreal

SagiCap:
Notice in the composite that your Part of Luck (in Montreal) falls in the fertile Taurus in the 2nd whole sign house of the chart (the $$ house) Also note that in the composite the Lucky Strike North Node falls in the benefic 9th whole sign house (a trikkona house in Vedic astrology, one of the best 3 houses according to their doctrines) IN your sign (Sagittarius)-considering the composite Part of Luck placement, as well as Sagittarius in the 9th house posited by the Lucky Strike NN there, I can see why you feel luckier in Montreal!!
