Not acting virgo

So yeah, I'm new to this site. I'm only 14 and I'm really interested in Astrology but what bothers me is that I don't act like my sign. I'm born on August 31, 1997 (so I'm obviously a Virgo) at exactly 6:30 in the morning Manila, Philippines. I'm loud, pessimistic, easily distracted, kind of emotional, lazy, not that organized and many more. What's wrong with me?

If we cast your chart using the Sidereal zodiac then you've a Leo Sun and Leo Rising.

I've looked up your chart, and while you have both a Virgo Sun and a Virgo Ascendant from a Tropical perspective, you do have a Moon in Leo. You also have a stellium in Aquarius (Uranus, Neptune and Jupiter) in your 5th house. Your Moon in Leo opposes your Uranus in Aquarius, which could explain why you are emotional. Your Moon is also squaring your Mars in Scorpio, and your impulsiveness is also explained by Mars Square Uranus. And then I think your Venus in Libra in the 1st house explains why you're not hard-working.

The Sun sign (and surprisingly your rising sign) doesn't explain everything. It's the sum of all the aspects.

My Sun is in Virgo, which could explain my desire for good health and my commitment to service, but my Pisces rising explains my sensitivity, and my stellium in Sagittarius explains my zeal for adventure, the outdoors and politics.

Oh and a Sun in Virgo and Virgo rising can be a worry-wart, which could explain some of your pessimism.

I think its because you are young still. Otherwise, I am sure you will grow up to be a fine Virgo.

As you dig deeper into astrology you will realize that the popular sun-sign descriptions are pretty shallow. Astrology has so many more dimensions to it.

I have Virgo rising, but my appearance is anything but the neat & tidy, docile type. Why? Because Uranus (a planet representing a certain amount of turmoil) squares (challenges) my ascendant (outward appearance).

It may be helpful to think of a sign as showing how, or in what manner, a planet operates. But it is modified by its house ("where" a planet operates) and its aspects (influences by other planets.)

You have two very dynamic aspect patterns: (1) sun-Mercury square Pluto involved in a very volatile formation called a "Thor's Hammer" that engages Saturn in your sun-Pluto square. You probably identify with your critical thinking ability but it can make you very hard on yourself-- and others. (2) A T-square involving Mars (your natural assertiveness), your moon (emotions, feelings) and Jupiter in Aquarius (suggesting you enjoy being iconoclastic.)

Do you sometimes feel like a total pressure-cooker on the inside? This is normal for a 14-year old, but you may feel as though you experience emotional power surges a lot more frequently than most.

You may actually have a ruthless side, in which a lack of trust in other people makes you feel you either have to dominate other people, or else be bullied by them.

Since you are starting to learn astrology at such a youthful age, I also recommend you read Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now. It can show you ways of understanding yourself and relating to others that are ultimately not driven by the ego (sense of "me") that is trying so hard to understand and control life.

You probably have a lot of talent and drive, which can serve you well as you determine what you wish to do with your adult life. I say this because you have several planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Uranus) that are very strong in their own signs. (I think you could make a good surgeon!)
