Will I get the job at the Medical University?

I am currently in the middle of a life-storm, trying to apply find a job as a language teacher.

I have been interviewed at the Medical University, where English teacher are being sought. The interview went relatively well and I have been invited for a second one on Monday.

Before I knew I'd be asked to have another round, I generated a chart:

Well, I kind of tried to interpret it myself:
1) The ASC is kind of late, which would suggest the decision has been made or I should know the answer. Neither of these applies.
2) My significator is the Sun, not especially strong in Capricorn, but at least, in its own face.
3) The ASC conjunct the fixed star Regulus, which is not bad, I presume.
2) The significator of the job is Venus (Lord of House 10) is on the cusp of House 7, house of open enemies (rivals). That is not a good sign.
3) Venus is just about to perfect a trine with Saturn.
4) Saturn is extremely dominant in this chart. It is the ruler of the Sun (my significator) and of Venus (the job's significator), it is a very powerful planet and Venus is in trine with it too.
5) There is a translation of light: Saturn is moving out of the trine with Venus and is applying towards a square with the Sun. That might mean I could get the job with the help of someone or something (?).
6) The Moon is in a mutable sign (Virgo), so things might be changing and is applying towards a trine with Mercury. (I don't understand the significance of that.)

Could someone help me interpret this chart, please?

I'm sorry but I think the answer is no. The reason being is that there is no aspect between Sun and Venus. Moon has also just separated from Venus by opposition. Venus (in the house of your rival) and Saturn (your rival, I believe) are both in the others domicile and perfecting the aspect. That's my short version.
I hope I'm wrong and that you get the job.

I think that was a great interp of your own horary.

Just for clarity though I want to say that there is, unfortunately, no translation of light because the semi-sextile between the Sun and Venus won't count.

Also, Venus, the job appears to be going to Saturn, the other person and they even have a mutual reception with the job, Venus.

What I meant was the square that Saturn and the Sun were applying towards.
So, what I saw what the trine between Saturn and Venus (absolutely perfect), but then Saturn and the Sun in a square right at the end of Capricorn. Or don't I see something correctly here?

Hey no problem.

Ya, the speed of the planets is the crux here. Venus is faster than the Sun and Saturn. The Sun is faster than Saturn. So, for translation of light to occur, the Sun and Saturn should already have been in aspect and are no longer. Then Venus, which would have already aspected the Sun, and now heads to aspect Saturn (or from Saturn to Sun since Venus is faster than both and could do that lickity-split).

Since Venus is faster here, she gets to Saturn first before the Sun and prohibits the Sun from aspecting Saturn. The Sun can't aspect Saturn anyway because he will first trine Mars. Mars prohibits the Sun from reaching Saturn.

And, for the bonus trivia, say that Venus and the Sun were not in aspect but both applied immediately to Saturn; Saturn would collect the light and bring those two significators together. This can't happen here because the Sun will trine Mars first so Mars prohibits the collection, too.

Ya, tell me about it. And, to top it off, Mercury rules your 2nd which, Mars is in. The Sun applies to Mars and Mars and Mercury are in mutual reception. This is definitely saying something, I think....

Well, in any case, the question is really answered from the main significators so it might not matter much after that. The answer could be read easily without much additional running about the wheel.

You all were absolutely right! I did not get the job. I suppose they wanted someone who has experience in using tranlation softwares. Oh, well! I'm sure it's better this way. I hope to find something soon, though.
