My First Sports Horary - Denver vs Pittsburgh

Hi all,

My brother is a severe sportsaholic and is openminded about astrology. I told him I'd try my first attempt at a sports horary and got the info on his favoured team (Pittsburgh) playing Denver on Sunday afternoon in Denver, CO. The game starts at 4:30pm on Jan. 8, so this is an event chart.

I wondered first why there are less direct horary questions just asking 'will my team win?' I'm not sure.

Anyway, shall we try?

The Chart: (Please bear with me, this is my first shot!)



Pittsburgh Steelers BLACK and YELLOW

Denver Broncos BLUE and ORANGE

My favourite method is to asign ASC or DSC upon kit's colour of teams. I think it is most secure variant. Why? Because, ASC for one team, and DSC for another team are all about apperance, that is the first impression what we get when ASC or DSC team run on playground and than we usually say: "White" are our team, and "red" are "enemy"(for example).

Moon in Cancer on ASC = silver, white, green, blue, grey, tan
Saturn in Libra DSC ruler = blue, green, white, pink, yellow, black/white, dark/bright, grey
*Neither of these give me clear indication, so now what? Go to check out the planet?

SATURN black, dark green, brown, grey, gloomy colors, dark blue
MOON white, sea green, silver, light blue, violet, red-orange, pale yellow
*Denver is blue and orange and here Moon is describes as "red-orange" and "lt. blue" so maybe this means Moon = Denver, and Saturn = Pittsburgh. I think this makes sense as Steelers are "steele" image, their uniforms have more black than yellow. I haven't looked up the natural sign for Pitts., but I would imagine it's Saturnian too. Just intuition....

Moon is right on the ASC, powerful and in her domicile - 1 goal for Denver?
Moon/Denver is also very powerfully angular in 1st.

If ruler is closer to a house cusp, the greater it's effect on that house.

Saturn is in exaltation. Good but no cigar? (This will probably be a good match.)
Moon/Denver is separating from MC. Separating from the "goal"?
Saturn/Pittsburgh is in later degrees, technically counted as in Scorpio? Does this mean, it's not actually exalted?
Saturn is applying to Neptune -No win? They "look" strong but applying to something elusive?

That site says to look to the 5th h to see how they play the game. Both ruler of their 5th are not in dignity, though Moon/Denver is Mars in Virgo though...

I understood you ask for some help and as I really think you need here it is:
You say: Your favourite method is colour method ok it is up to you. How dark of any colour is enough to be represented by the planet or how much light? what would you do if you do not have appropriate colour?
But you have favourites.
And what will happen if you would like to predict several matches that play at the same time at the same day? How would you make a question?.
Let me try : Will all my favourites teams win today? Mostly, You will get negative answer. Or possibly affirmative. What would you do with that answer?
Or to spend a week on five matches becouse you cannot make questions one after the other than you must wait for... how long?
Ok I forgot that you have favourites.
What criteria you use for ''powerfull'' or ''very powerfull'' or ''less power''-weaker?
How much is it?
Use the exaltation only when one ruler is exalted by the other. It also does make sence only in one situation. When exalted ruler is stronger anyway. Do not give too much respect for exaltation. That is like admiring some persons. If admirer is strong enough to win it will win for sure. Who cares about exaltation.
Like the ruler combusted by the Sun. So what spectacular answer you can get from that position? None. You must check the rest than make conclusion.
Until you change your view, predict matches for fun only. I do not say that you will not guess but there will be disappointed misses just becouse of these terms you use.
There are actually no favourites in this matter, you can use colour method in limited options, it is ok let say for one coloured jerseys and that difference must be like dark blue and white or white and black or something like that, no light red and blue no yellow and light blue becouse of first impression which can lead you to disaster. Forget impressions, any kind of.. Strictly make predictions without emotions or what would you like the result to be.
Do not interprete the chart, calculate it.
Openminded persons make the question : Who will win? ( they are curious aren't they?
The other ask will my team wins?

I hear you! I am here to try and learn though. As I said, I really have no idea and chose the method from the site I posted. It's literally the very first time I've done such a chart.

Is it better to do a regular horary question asking, will my team win in your opinion? Then we break out the popcorn and beer?

-Pittsburg visitor, comes from far away = 9th house significator (whole sign, Pisces = Jupiter)

Well let me write my opinion. The famous story about the elephant. We see just some parts of the elephant. Someone see legs someone see eye but the elephant is in global and the only one in total . So I do believe that is quite right if you write what you see and that I disagree, . But as the elephant is the final figure so there is one method that is complete.
So wether yours need for help was literally or not I send the same message at my thread repeated several times but left without.
My approach to any matter is to understand it as simple as possible. In basic. Becouse I think I am right when I understand that this world is created as simple as possible. The combinations made this world sofisticated not creation.
Aspects have one charge, when it happens it is over but dignities have meanings that last until the circumstances last.
So the dignities last e.g until the space body change the house, or speed or some distances from...
The simplicity is that there are only two dignities but various combinations make the difference. In basic there are two things: the possibility and the circumstances.
I have tried to find the basic formulas or let say how decissions were made or let say in moder language formulas.
So when I had doubts with colours I found the base. What makes colours? The light.
Do not respect even the creation too much it was made simple as you repair the watch with an axe.
For me it is really quite regular to make predictions using horary. I do not use it by asking the question becouse I do not expect the answer from the God for my betting. . Using the prahistoric question and answer I implemented that in my method which undoubtely works. That questin was: What will represents each thing in the universe? The SYMBOL which rise through the message of the cration. The space bodies that can be seen by an eye. That is why there are just seven space bodies that can be rulers so I do no know why many astrologers use substitutes called dispositors. So five planets and two lights. Sun is the only one, no, light is the only one and the Moon is here to remind about the light even when it is dark.
Now you can make a test even today. Notifie all matches that starts in the same time in England with let say identical charts. All matches will bi finished by winning or at least draw for teams represented by light colour of jerseys or darker colour of jerseys. If you follow the colour method you will notifie many colours but if you united them by representing the quantity of light you will have them all at the same side.
So one practical question is : Why to predict just one match instead to predict them all .
The global prediction takes just a small quantity of time more than one match prediction even that small amount of time is questonable but is more spectacular .

Everything is just like drinking the beer. Drink and get drunk . Well, I like beer with saussages but wine is for more pleasant moment.
If you are the hockey fan you may try the same with hockey matches. The result must be the same. In basic you have the Battle, the Confrontation for any match in sports. Symbols differs.
And while you sit at the dark corner of the pub drinking the beer and watch the match do not tell anyone that you have already seen that match in the other way .
For most people that is immposible and you could be the witch .

I think you got the part about asc and asc ruler right, but if you look at the chart more closely you see that this moon is opposed to fortune which is a defeat for asc team. also you may look at the antiscion of moon. its exactly on the south node, again a defeat for the asc team. these are two strong claims for defeat and one for victory of the asc, so its closer to the victory of descendant team!
