The North and South Nodes are the points where the Moon's Orbit crosses the Earth's orbit around the Sun (commonly called the Ecliptic). So they're not planets and, until recently, largely ignored as a means to interpreting a birth chart. They are exactly 180 degrees apart in the sky and are always retrograde, possibly why they are considered the primary karmic indicators. As they are always in 'opposition' they are considered as axes, when the North Node is in the First House the South Node is in the Seventh. Similarly, when the North Node is in Aries, the South Node is in Libra

The South Node indicates what we are comfortable with, the lessons previously learnt and brought into this incarnation to help overcome the challenges we are to face. The ruling planet of the sign occupied by the South Node is an indicator of what we did to learn these lessons.

So, since your south node is in Leo then your natal sun and the sign it occupies is an indicator of what you did to learn these lessons. Pay particular attention to any aspects between your Sun and any other planets of your natal chart - particularly retrograde planets

South Node in 2nd House The individual has overcome a feeling of inadequacy through the development of an innate sense of well-being and personal security.

South Node in Leo The individual has learnt to take life seriously and not to treat it as a game only for them to play.

since the nodes are exactly opposite each other then you also have North Node in 8th house in Aquarius & may find the following north node interpretations useful

North Node in 8th House
There is a need for the person to accept the unorthodox, to actively seek the unknown and the means to impose your own power on life. They are more likely to succeed if they seek the assistance of those with a powerful magnetism that will transform or regenerate their life. These people are also likely to need the partnership of people with equally powerful sexuality and emotions.

North Node in Aquarius
There is a need for the person to be more integrated, playing his part in society and to contribute as a member of a team. They are more likely to succeed with the support of those who can help in making contacts within the community or show a high level of inventiveness or resourcefulness.
