Well, I don't know how everyone feels about this but "time" is something measured when something begins to take form and then stops when it changes. Energy is just simply transferred in time to a different form. Having this in mind, it seems that having our sun as a source of time, is closed minded. Think of over ways of time "others" have affiliated with or made use of "time".
