Surgeon in distress

Hello, everybody. I am 31 and female. I have decided to become a doctor since childhood, due to some unfortunate events. I wanted to become a psychyatrist for many years, but very late in college I changed my option to surgery. Now I am a resident doctor in plastic surgery. I had an enormous lot of trouble in order to reach this specialty, mainly with money but also with people. I changed a lot but apparently not enough. I still feel "stuck" on so many levels and sometimes I am not sure I made the right choice. There are still some outside problems but the biggest problem is with myself. I was always the one who believed in me but now it seems I have lost all confidence, motivation and sense of purpose. Actually in the present I feel that I have overcome this moment also and I would be ready to struggle some more if that would be the case but my intuition tells me nothing. It feels as if I am on an uncharted ground, passed a lot of things behind and there is such a void in front of me that I'm not sure what to do. I am stuck and I don't know what to do. I meditate and I pray and I wait but I feel that I am drawn to and repelled by my profession at the same time and this is not productive. Could you help me by telling me exactly what might be the problem? I mean, how should I change more,in what direction? Or maybe I should change my job? Thank you!

At 31 you have come out of having a saturn return 27-30ish and this is quite a serious time when one putting plans into action for the next section of your life.

Astrology can explain lots of things, especially regarding your personality, traits etc but it's entirely upto YOU to make changes in your life, you are the captin of your ship no-one else. Knowing astrology is not going to change you or do this for you! We all have to go through rough transits, to learn and to grow as a person, so in that regard you are no different...

Kite

“Whenever a person has a kite in his chart, he is considered to be more likely to be successful in his endeavours because the opposition will give him the push to go out and conquer the obstacles that are presented to him, and the sextiles will give him a little bit more harmony once he has achieved his goals.”

currently Transiting pluto is conj your MC and this is quite a long range transit, causing major transformations for around 18-24months. When I had this, my marriage broke down, my father died, I had to go back to work after 15years being full time mom....

astro.com will have a detailed analysis by Robert Hand to give you more ideas of how this will play out...

Your MC receives a hard aspect from natal mars and pluto will create a square/tension for quite a long time. sometimes this can suggest surgery or at least a massive ego/pride/energy problems...

Thank you! I'm sure I have to do the changes but a little peek under the curtain helps a lot.

Re: Surgeon in distress

And about that Pluto transit, I'm supposed to finish my training in 22 months. If I can make it, my career will be fine. If not, well then I'll have to find other solutions. Thanks again. Any further insight will be highly appreciated.

Re: Surgeon in distress

And about the Saturn return, it's been some hell years. Actually it started around 2006 but the situation aggravated and it finished around May or earlier 2010. So exactly when you said. I was 27-30 ish. It's been a year since then and what I feel right now apart from being exhausted is the fear that I should fall into those situations again. If I had known that astrology is so exact I would have looked into it earlier. I'm amazed of how accurate that was. I'm not scared of different challenges(not yet) but I'm not able to suffer something like that soon. I'll study those Saturn returns to see when to expect one again.

Re: Surgeon in distress

Wow! Thank you astrologer50! You are very helpful! I suppose this is the path to follow and the rest is just me being a chicken. I kind of knew this all along but I hoped there'd be a easier way to do it or even run from it. (my Moon in Pisces and a huge 12th house I guess is the translation). I'll find my courage on the way, like the Cowardly Lion from The Wizard of Oz. I'll follow the yellow brick road!(in this case,I think it's made of stars). Thanks again.
