Unhappy Frustrated with my chosen career

hi everyone! I'm new here, so hello!

I wanted to ask your opinion on my chart. I'm feeling a little down with my chosen career path at the moment, i ve had those feelings up and down for about a year now. (saturn return?)

anyhow, i feel like i ve worked long and hard, (10 years plus) in the arts, i ve had a lot of exhibitions, often overseas, but i have never had any material stability from it (ie. MONEY!) and I feel my recognition has been waning ever since I moved to England (2 years ago) where everything seems to happen slower.. just wandered if there is any hope for getting some good recognition, and some sort of income eventually?

have put 2 charts, one placidus, and one with whole houses.

thanks !

Re: Frustrated with my chosen career

I use Equal House system (where each cusp is same as Ascendant) and am a modern astrologer. Lots of newcomers come into Astrology/forums and get a free chart from www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few others if you wish to experiment…..

So mc ruler cancer/moon in first is afflicted by conj to Saturn, which shows you are quite able to endure financial hardships, like mother in your early childhood.

looking at finances /venus (chart ruler) is a singleton and apex for Yod configuration here..

Singleton planets
“If a planet happens to be the only one in an element, quality, or house type, that planet is a Singleton and it can funnel all of the “energy” of the horoscope. This planet is often the most important one in the horoscope. In other words, if you just interpret the position of this one planet by sign, house, and aspect, you will get to the “heart of the horoscope”. The effect is the same as if that planet were the only one on one side of the chart.”

(There is a book out by Shirley Lyons Meier, "Elemental Voids, More than Meets the Eye", which gives a good discussion of missing elements.) The Inferior Function can be a source of great motivation and creative expression.

Re: Frustrated with my chosen career

you are currently having your saturn return, which is a serious time and going all over your libra planets, it's easy to see why you are having delays frustrations and financial shortages

Saturn Return
Saturn takes 30 years or so to complete its circuit around the zodiac so events that occur around the age of 29-30, 58-59 and 84-87 will be of great significance to the native, depending on the strength and aspects to natal saturn.

Re: Frustrated with my chosen career

Thanks for all the info!

So would you say its really just saturn thats causing delays, or what I feel is less attention than usual for my career? (it hasn't really been that bad, just feel like things arent progressing at all in the last 3-4 years.) When Saturn moves out of my packed first house would you say things will ease up work wise?

About the T-square, and pluto going into IC and 4th house, have definately felt effects of that in family, with both my parents having illnesses and even more 'plutonian' characteristics showing than usual

I was really more concerned about my career/line of work, and if I will ever be able to make a living, or at least have a wider success at it ???

RE:your chart lacks the element of earth/practicality. Was there a male sibling born age 3?

- No, no male siblings. Just one younger sister, and she was born in 1990. (around age 8)

RE: I can see why you relocated with sun/mercury in 9th. but mars squ neptune will sap your energy.

-yes I relocated at least 20 times to various different countries before age of 20. why would mars-neptune sap my energy? I'm quite energetic ....i think!?
