cosmetic surgery during mercury retrograde?

Hi guys

Am new to this forum and I have a question regarding the mercury retrograde.

I want to get cosmetic surgery on my eyes for a long time now, Been thinking about getting it done since the beginning of the year. The surgery would make my eyes more appealing and less swollen.

I am originally from China and was gonna get it done this summer, however the plan changed...and I am trying to go back during the winter for the surgery.

I found a doctor with quite good experience, and everything would go smooth. Yet I realized that the date of my surgery is likely on either nov.25 or 26, which is during the mercury retrograde on Sag....and if I remember correctly, there is a solar elipse on nov.25, a lunar elipse on dec.10

Will the mercury retrograde and the eclipse affect my surgery? I am worried because this surgery is not really about health but more towards beauty, and i really want to get my eyes done....

Although you should always follow your doctor's advice, if someone were to ask me this same question, I would suggest to wait until after Mercury goes direct, and then make a good election for a new time.

I agree. I would avoid such a surgery during either Mercury or Venus retrograde.

Yes..I am worried about it too, I guess it would be either communication problem or something technical...I can wait till the end of mercury retrograde and do the surgery, just that it would left me with a short period of recovering time before school starts XD

But how can I pick a date that is good for the surgery? It there a way to see that?

Some SIMPLE guidelines (there are a lot more, but these-in my opinion-are the easiest to follow)
-Mercury is direct in motion and is not in the same sign as the South Node on the day of the operation
-Moon is increasing in light-waxing Moon (up to the day before the Full Moon)
-Moon is not in Scorpio, Aries, Capricorn or in the same sign as the South Node, on the day of the operation
-Mars is not in the sign of Aries on the day of the operation
-Mars is not applying to conjunction, square or opposition to Sun or Moon (Sun, Moon have planetary affinity to the eyes, vision)
-time, ie, the hours during which the operation will be performed, is not during the hours of Moon Void of Course (easily determined using the Pocket Astrologer or similar daily calendar type astrological guide)

I have a few questions..

1. Do I need to make a synastry chart between my natal chart and the surgery day chart? Or just simply make a chart for the surgery day?

2. If I just have to receive the surgery during the retrograde, i will then try to pick the best date possible (following the guideline you wrote) Will this somewhat deduct the danger in doing surgery during the retrograde?
