hates being Venus/Mars in Virgo and wants a passionate sex life

I want to be able to have spontaneous passionate sex. Venus/Mars in Virgo is holding my strong sexual drive back. I just want to get rid of this shy taking-it-slow approach. I don't want to play it safe. Any advice?

Leo, we live what we believe. If you believe that Venus & Mars in Virgo will hold you back (they won't!!!) then likely they will. Pluto-Moon conjunct in Scorpio is pretty passionate sexually (so I'm told!) Sun-Jupiter conjunct in Leo is supposed to be exuberant and socially & sexually attuned.

I think that your `problem' has nothing at all to do with Virgo planets. Virgo is earthy and quite sexual. You need to look at how Saturn is situated in your chart. It forms a trine with your ASC - denoting a serious and responsible, cautious approach to life - and apart from that trine it is unaspected. This means that your natal Saturn stands like a large and looming parent over your life, ensuring that you don't ever `let go' of control and cautiousness where your life is concerned. Pleasure? Sex? Passion? After you've done all your chores, and not before!!

How to deal with this? Awareness of it is a start. To a degree you may always have the brakes on. As you age you will learn to work with Saturn, rather than trying to suppress it.

you also have no planets in water and only one saturn in air. This lack in water can be helped by having 5planets in water houses.

Venus in virgo is in it's detriment BUT it's conjunct exuberant Jupiter to help matter along. Stop over analysing and worrying.

Melanie Griffith has Mars and Venus in Virgo (and Mercury in Virgo, and Sun in Leo). I don't think you can blame the Virgo on the cautiousness (although to be fair, Griffith has Neptune conjunct her Mars, which probably accounts for the drug abuse somewhat, while yours is in a delightful trine).

This is true. I know a couple men with planets in Virgo that are pretty whorish.

The thing is, Virgo can manifest as one extreme or the other. I have Venus in Virgo and I'm the exact opposite of that.


LeoWantsPassion - there isn't anything wrong with being careful and selective about who you sleep with. I think that when the right person for you comes along, you won't any problems in that area. Being picky, respecting yourself and the sexual act, and having no libido, aren't the same thing.

I think too that a lot of the problem is just the times - in this day and age, being a slut is the popular thing to be. Then we get bombarded with media **** along those lines, and other people who live that way, and if we can't bring ourselves to sleep with people we don't know and don't love, then we get looked at like something's wrong with us, which then makes us feel like there is.
