Help interpreting a friend's chart

Hi everyone,

Recently I was having a discussion with a friend. She very honest, intelligent, and quiet yet wise. (She also has very piercing eyes, which are probably her most striking characteristic. It's impossible to keep a secret from her.) She is young, but her parents and friends call her an "old soul" because she is so contemplative and doesn't always "act her age." She'll discuss almost anything with me and we generally agree on politics. But one thing we disagree on completely is the spiritual world, and also astrology. I know that astrology is an accurate science that provides insight into people's lives. But she thinks it's all bunk! Every time I bring something pertaining to it up, she becomes very critical and sharp-tongued, so I generally avoid the topic. She is a staunch atheist and a fan of James Randi, a skeptic.

I said that if she got an astrology reading done, it would give her insight into herself and that she would believe in it a lot more. (Don't knock it until you've tried it!) She just said that she "doesn't want to waste time and money" (!), but she gave me her birth info and promised she wasn't lying.

EDIT: Also, she is openly bisexual and ADHD, and has a morbid interest in horror movies, no matter how poorly made they are. She insists on watching every SAW movie that comes out, no matter how bad they get. (She admits that they suck, but loves to watch anyway.)

On first look at seems she had a problem with her mother Moon to Mars opposition, in addition, Saturn in the natal 4th usually points to one of the parents being very critical of the child, perhaps not very affectionate, unloving or simply uninvolved. Maybe one of the parents was gone a lot as because of work or just not there emotionally. Neptune rules the 4th house and it's squared to Mars. Well actually, it's part of a T square with Moon and Mars. Mars square Neptune, and Pluto in the 12th house could explain the preoccupation with horror films. There could be interest in sexual games, she could be promiscuous or get caught up in deception around sex. She could be prone to sexually transmitted disease, so practicing safe sex will be important(of course that is a given anyways now days).There might be a tendency to overindulge and later could lead to an addiction problem. Uranus square Mars would explain the sharp tongue, she could be very cruel although you say she holds herself in check most of the time. I think she has a much bigger temper than you know about with that Moon opposite Mars and Uranus squaring Mars. A good outlet for her would be sports. She would be pretty athletic with Mars in the 5th house. If she isn't involved in something athletic, she should be.

On the promiscuous aspect, I would have to disagree - I've known her since we were in kindergarten and although she went out with boys a couple times she never got into anything serious. Apparently she's searching, but she's also very very picky.

I know that her dad is an alcoholic and because of this she refuses to drink because she doesn't want to get addicted. She gets a very unpleasant reaction from even the tiniest bit of wine (first she coughs, and then she falls asleep). I read once that some Ashkenazi Jews (she is one) have a gene that makes them feel worse physical symptoms if they drink.

But the part about her temper was spot-on. She tries to keep her anger under control at all times because she knows it can hurt people, but it still slips out every so often. And she has a particular disdain for sports, yet somehow manages to keep a nice figure.

Oh, but she's not all negative! She's an honest and reliable person who is also very funny. We've been friends for a long time and we've never had a falling-out. We're more like sisters, really.

If you look at my post, it said she "could be promiscuous." She's 15 so how much dating experience could she have? I didn't say anything was absolute, I was giving you examples of potentials. Anyway, since she is only 15 years old you really have no idea who she will grow up to be. Life experiences change people; maturity changes people. I can tell you who I was when I was in my teens and 20's verses who I am now is night and day as I am a completely different person. Also, when I say could lead to addiction problems I never mentioned alcoholism, did I?? Addiction can include many different things not just alcohol, and yes, she will have to be careful, trust me. It could be addiction to sex, work, working out, drugs, food, caffeine, cigarettes, etc, do you see where I am going here? It's a personality type and usually when someone has a problem with addiction and if they recover from one type of addiction, they replace it with another. Now Mars square Neptune, her 4th ruler of home and family would definitely make sense that someone in her home life is addicted to a substance. I meant to write about that but forgot. Now the flip side is that she could attract addicts to her in her adult relationships and not necessarily become one herself. It's hard to say how that will play out. Be aware that what you grow up with is what you subconsciously recreate in your adult life. It's a very hard pattern to break. She sounds like she has a good head on her shoulders and is very practical so maybe she can overcome this potential. Time will tell.

Edit: I forgot, Mars square Neptune in a natal chart could also point to bi-sexuality. She also has Mercury trine Uranus, she is extremely intelligent.

Your friend has a 12th house Pluto. That explains the "very piercing eyes, which are probably her most striking characteristic. It's impossible to keep a secret from her". It is also extremely difficult to know the real person ... she will only show you what she wants you to see. I have a 12th house Pluto conjoined the Asc.
