Since this is a learning board, I must venture my opinion.

Moon is leaving favour with the Quesited, but still a possibility. Mercury, the Querent's main signifactor is still in the Quesited's rulership, so he hosts and receives her by sign.

My interest is in Moon in Aries, but still in 7th house. She's at 5deg, so she's in terms of Jupiter still, while being in Aries. My main question is, is she losing favour with him as she leaves his sign and enters the next, still being in his 7th? And still w/main signifactor in Sag, his rulership?

Nope, it's not really clear, but....

If it's a night chart, though, Moon is in Jupiter's triplicity.

Is Merc applying to Jupiter in square in this scenario?

If the Moon is applying (as in next aspect) to trine Mercury (the querent's sig?) then things could still turn out okay for the querent, but not as he or she expects they'll turn out.

My concern is that Merc is aspecting the place of its detriment AND fall by aspecting Pisces. The querent may end up corrupted (as in far too much compromising of essential nature, principles, all that) beyond repair to make things work.

This isn't a good square, even though Jupiter's a benefic. It may end up being one of those things 'best left undone'.

Moon here is separating from a square w/Mercury. If it was a trine, isn't this Moon (herself) applying Merc (herself as Main Sig.) I guess I'm not understanding why this case makes it unexpected. She's heart and mind co-existing in a trine, I was thinking.

I see! That's the answer. Ok. Because, though they connect, she's connecting to a quality in him that's bad for her (detriment and fall.)

It amazes me you can decipher this from the little info I gave you. I'm sorry about that, but I didn't have her permission to post the chart yet and she asked me to look.

Also, was intensely curious about the Querent in his house (7th) but not being in his rulership. Being in Aries...
