I’m very sorry for this long message, but I have been wondering about this for quite some time now and I think this is the place where I can find some answers. A few years ago I got back in touch with my step sister (from my father’s previous marriage) whom I hadn’t seen for 10 years. We’ve never lived together and we were never close: we rarely saw each other and when we did the big age difference (11 years) kept us rather distant. She had a hard time adjusting to the idea that her father had a new family and it didn’t help that her mother and grandparents told her many false stories and lies about him. Eventually, she did something stupid and tried to lie about it to our father who didn’t fall for it and cut all contact with her.

A few years ago I found out where she was and what she was doing and contacted her via email. She agreed to meet me and we got along well and we kept seeing each other for our birthdays and holidays. During our conversations I could see she was still hurt about not having a father figure while growing up. I could also see she had been told some lies about our father and that she kept him responsible for everything that didn’t work out in her life. I tried to convince her that she didn’t know him as I did and that they should try to talk things through.

As for the astrology part, I did a synastry chart between my chart and hers and I was intrigued by the fact that my MC/IC axis coincides perfectly with her nodes axis and that my MC/IC axis almost corresponds to her AC/DC axis. Because her NN sits exactly on my IC I took it as a sign that she has some ,,lesson” to learn regarding her family and therefore she should get back in touch with our father. I would really want to know what are the lessons to learn – if any – in this relationship with my step sister. I feel like I’m on a mission with getting them back together but I may be interpreting things the wrong way...

Yes, I should have said half sister instead - English is not my first language, so I got a little confused

Venus rules my half sister's 2nd house, that was her chart (I am the younger one) therefore I wanted to ask if the part regarding my discovery of untruths and deceptions still applies or was it only for that specific chart?

Our relationship is quite out of the ordinary ... the only thing we have in common (apart from our father) is our interest in astrology (uranus) and spiritual subjects, but we have different approaches even here: she is more sensible and impressionable (maybe her Moon having something to do about this - being in Pisces and in a critical degree?)

Is there anything else I should understand about this relationship?
