Why am I so competitive with guys?
Not getting/attracting guys. But being first, especially when I am around guys?I don't know it always came naturally to me and don't understand it.Sometimes I feel so b*tchy and obnoxious although i have never been called a name like that for my competitiveness.
Currently I've managed to "tone it down" a bit so this trait of mine isn't very obvious but I still feel it.
Would anything good come out of it?I am not necessarily competitive with girls and don't understand why, when in our day there's a lot female competition.I kind of find this trait of mine unattractive and maybe annoying for others*sigh*...
Any insight would be helpful.
Any way I can use this "competitiveness" for something good/positive?

Re: Why am I so competitive with guys?
Your natal chart indicates an emphasis upon the first and tenth houses, just like mine--albeit, the planets are sextile rather than square each other.
My interpretation is that your sense of self (first house) is largely dependent upon your achievement in the outer world (tenth house), so you feel you need to "prove" yourself, particularly to those in power. Regardless of advances in recent years, at least in developed countries, who holds the power in patriarchal societies? Men. The few women who do have power often display stereotypical male characteristics because feminine characteristics are regarded as "weak," or at least, unsuitable for business. They learn to compete with the big boys.
Perhaps your experience has been slightly different than mine because all of your planets, with the exception of Saturn, are located in feminine signs. Nevertheless, Mars is exalted in Capricorn, in the house of Aries, conjunct the Ascendant. You identify with male characteristics. With your Capricorn stellium, you are ambitious and you have your eye on the prize. Capricorns often develop a systematic strategy to reach their goals. You've assessed the environment, and you probably have identified males as a greatest threat to your career goals. You want to earn their respect, to demonstrate that you can compete with the big boys--and win. Hence, you feel compelled to "be first."
I apologize if this comes across as a feminist rant. Personally, I believe this dynamic is more about the energy one exudes than physical gender. You likely will compete with anyone--male or female--who embodies masculine energy. Females have been freer to express this side of themselves in recent years; again, some would argue that your feelings are typical for many young women, that they are the results of greater sociological forces. Some perceive there has been a bizarre gender role-reversal, that society now empowers women and dis-empowers men. Perhaps there are astrological reasons for this, but I feel it is important to put an individual astrological analysis in the context of greater forces.

I think in my case it could relate to the father-figure.Although I have always felt like I wanted to do big things and be successful,I've recently come to realize that sometimes I want to be the "protector".haha
I can be just as competitive with women too,but usually I feel something sisterly for other women, don't know.Although with men I think competitiveness is fun too!And maybe the way that I relate to them is because I really don't have any brothers.
Also my 3rd house of communication falls in Aries which is the sign of competitiveness.

Re: Why am I so competitive with guys?
In a nutshell...Mars rising !
A first house Mars wants to prove itself...and where does all that proving go on ...with other Mars's ....adolescent young men are the archetype of Mars and I would say jock boys most especially !
My daughter has a first house Mars and Aries rising. She has always wished she was a boy, wanted a brother, competed sports wise with boys and it was truly tragic when she went thru puberty and couldn't keep up with and beat boys anymore in sports. She hated it !
Her first real love had a crush on her for years but was too scared to come near her because her Mars rising swagger was so intense. (he had a Pisces moon in 12 !).
They finally connected after he graduated from high school and he told her that he couldn't imagine kissing her because he thought she might punch him !
She told me her idea of being courted was a really intense physical battle of some sort ...where only at the end when you are both completely spent does it happen that in the end the man/boy has the upper hand and the girl/woman finally gives in/surrenders... she thought that scenario was very sexy.
With the Moon/Jupiter conjunct I would imagine you get along with other women...they can uplift you and you them

Lol,come to think of it...in elementary I was a tomboy,I know that I was feared by guys,XD.I would also get into fights if someone started pushing me around, and enjoyed it.
Well there was a guy who liked me in 3rd grade and his best friend told me,he actually sat in the same desk as me and he was rather kind to me.He even told me that in case someone bothered me I should tell him,XD.Now that I think about it ,it was so cute...
Although I have no idea what sign he is.I remember that he was a nice kid but couldn't stay quiet in the class, haha.

Sun Capricorn has strong elements of ambition in it, and quiet competitiveness. All those first house planets as well - you want to be number 1!
