Hello all, let's talk about nodes...
I was wondering if there are any "
sun conjunct south node" or
"sun conjunct north node" people out there, and how do you feel that conjunction in your life experience.
I have sun conjunct south node in 1st house aquarius.
Of course it is hard to pinpoint the exact interpretation of that aspect, since there are other aspects of the chart that might deal with the same issue. I find nodes very interesting since they result of the "marriage" between the sun (our brightest light) and the moon (the filter, reflector, balancer and organizer of light).
This conjunction is said to produce a
difficult relationship with father, maybe a separation. Well, my father is great, I admire him and all but there was always an emotional distance between us, and it is getting wider and wider with age, it is like he is a stranger to me, although I don't find any logical reason to feel this way. We barely talk because , well, there is nothing to talk about really, no common ground, no affinity. I'm never at ease with him around.
It is also said that it creates
difficulties with authority figures and with the idea of bearing children. Well, I can't imagine myself being a mother, it is a hard idea for me, I doubt I'm capable of it.
In vedic astrology this aspect makes a person
very spiritual, detached from the material world, so, dealing with the meaningless materialistic side of life may be a bit difficult.
