Question Strange star
hi i was out looking in the night sky tonight about half an hour ago. i was looking at leo. In the centre of the body as i watched a bright star appeared suddenly, brighter that any star iv seen it stayed still shining for 10 seconds or so then split into two, one part going vertically up and the other horizontally to the right. as they moved they slowly got fainter and fainter untill they dissapeared.

is anyone able to tell me what this is?

perhaps you should ask astronomers who stargaze and alike. Here we are into astrology and it's study.

Perhaps what you saw was an omen? But it is up to you to research into it, if you are interested, to see what it might mean...
