Venus in 0 degrees of any sign?

I can't find any information about Venus being in 0 degrees of any sign.

Does anyone have any info on it?

I usually associate:
~ I find childish in expressing feelings.
~ It affects attitude towards money also - less caring.

So you find them a bit childish in their feelings? And less caring toward money?

I wonder if childishness could represent a bit of selfishness. For example, Venus in its youth. So, more selfishness.

Wouldn't that be Venus in Aries (childish, a bit selfish in love)?

I think it depends on the sign and house placement.

Yes, but degrees mean something too. Each degree (not duads!) means something very unique and individual, I am sure!

Yes.

Subsequently, Venus progression becomes important.

Re: Venus in 0 degrees of any sign?

My Venus is in 0 degrees Taurus and I do not fit the descriptions provided by dhundhun.

I never read anything on the 0 degree Venus placement but from my own experience I can say that I am more naive regarding issues of the heart than most. I trust easily and fall in love quickly. As for emotions, mine run very deep and are very intense.

Also, being at 0 degrees the Venus placement may posess traits of the previous sign as well.

Well being "naive", "quick" and "deep emotions" are part of Venus at 0. Sorry for not able to put in proper words.

Childishness and selfishness do not necessarily translate to "deep emotions"...one can have intense emotions and not be naive...or one can be childish and posses shallow emotions... which one is it according to you?

0' is the beginning of every sign therefore 'strong' but remember planets are modified by 'sign' where is the house and how is the aspects. You cannot and should not just attempt dissection of 0' venus. What if this venus is conj Saturn or pluto or neptune -- it would totally alter and define it's expressions.

So some more info or better still a chart would be very helpful now.

Also remember, venus is exalted in certain signs, in it's detriment and fall in others. All these things need to be taken into account.

Re: Venus in 0 degrees of any sign?

Raindrops, you might be interested in this article on critical degrees and anaretic degrees: http://www.cafeastrology.com/criticaldegrees.html .

0 degrees is a critical degree in a cardinal sign, but not in a fixed or mutable sign. Presumably a planet in a critical degree has more power and becomes more important in a chart.

You might also consider dwads. A dwad is a division of a sign by 2.5 degree increments, such that each dwad is assigned a zodiacal sign. In the most common system the first dwad has the same sign as the sign it is in, but there are other systems.

So a planet at 0 degrees Aries is in the Aries dwad. A planet at 29 degrees Aries is in the Pisces dwad of Aries. In signs where the Pisces dwad occurs part way through, you simply continue with Aries and the rest of the signs in order.

What this means is that a planet located in 0 to 2 degrees 30 minutes of a sign should more strongly exemplify the sign, because it is getting a double dose of that energy.

Some astrologers swear by Sabian symbols, but I've not had much luck with them.

Re: Venus in 0 degrees of any sign?

similar thing is 'decantes' being 10' and therefore 3x in each sign -- so aries decante would be aries/aries, second decanate would be aries/leo and third decanate would be aries/sagittarius....
