Will he get the job?

Hi there
Please can someone help me with this chart, I asked for someone else so I'm really not sure which houses to use.

A guy I'm seeing told me there is a job change at work (we both work together). There is a slightly senior position that he and another person at the same place might be considered for. Only one of them may get it.

I asked, will he (the guy I'm seeing) get it.

I took him to be 7th house, Mercury
Then I get lost
for the job might I use his 10th house? - in which case it would be Mercury also - this usually means a yes "he will get the job"

The Sun is in his 1st house
There is also a square going on between Mars and Mercury, looks like arguments - the Mercury is in his 1st house. That could be the job is his (job/Merc in his house).
Don't know who Mars could be - rules his 2nd money, which is in fall
There has also been a opposition with Pluto/Mars, Pluto sits in his 4th house - something to do with his home? Some sort of force, power struggle about the money?

Mercury is going retro soon, something is about to change - at least its going back into its own sign so gaining strength where it will conjunct Saturn (ruler of his 5th and 6th), perhaps he gets the job, even though 6th rules just daily chores rather than career. But the Saturn is opposing Uranus, co-ruler of intercepted 6th. Is this a job within a job (intercepted). Seems like a mixed message, a seperation and a joining of a job within a job - could this be the promotion? Saturn rules it which represents a job with authority. Saturn and Mercury are in good reception.

Moon will inconjunct Mercury first, showing some sort of adjustment, then trine Mars. Is this an adjustment in his job, carrying that to his money? Who is Mars?? Hmmm. puzzled. Then Moon inconjuncts Venus (is this me?) Then is opposses that Sun on his angle, is this him disagreeing with himself.

Finally Moon opposes Saturn, conjuncts Uranus then changes signs to oppose Mercury.

It looks like some changes, with the job getting better, by which time Mercury will also be combust the Sun (around the New Moon). There will be a definate change but I'm just not sure if it shows him getting the job. I would tend to think he will just as Saturn conjuncts Mercury...

Could anyone please help?
