Born during Mercury Retrograde Shadow

Does Mercury Retrograde still have an effect on my birthchart since I was born only fifteen hours after Mercury went direct?

I've always been a misunderstood person which seems to match the confusing and perplexing traits of someone born during a Mercury Retrograde.

DPerez, when you were born AFTER Mercury goes direct, then you must have a Direct Mercury in your chart and the retrogradation will not have an effect on you.

Being misunderstood by others is not only due to a retrograde Mercury, but also to a Mercury in the 12th house or a Mercury in Pisces or aversely aspected by Neptune.
Sometimes a Mercury-Uranus connection causes problems, because these people think outside the box and others just have trouble following them. Anything in your chart that points to this?

The exact square between Mercury and Saturn is the most likely culprit. It is applying by 14 seconds exactitude. Mercury is in Pisces, mutable water, which does not easily clarify one's thoughts, especially when it becomes the apex of a T-square with a Saturn/Neptune opposition in the 3rd and 9th. Communication and the mind and higher education is your life theme in some ways. I see that you are highly intelligent, but not always appreciated for that perceptiveness. Perhaps you hold back too much, and do not share your insights, so others think you do not have many.

Thank you for putting up the chart dperez! So there you go, Mercury rules the 12th and is afflicted in Pisces. The square to your 3rd house is the most difficult one of the two, it adds more to "speaking in a way which can confuse others" and the square to Saturn hampers the ability to be constructive in what you try to communicate. Your Neptune is retrograde and has an enormous amount of aspects compared to other planets in your chart AND it is intercepted which also makes it difficult to express yourself in such a way that others understand what you mean. You must be quite spiritual with the ruler of the 3rd conjunct the Ascendant and Neptune sextiling Pluto and the Ascendant as well as sextiling Jupiter who rules the intercepted sign. People might not understand your intellect.
