PACKED 10th house transits

Hi!

Can anyone please explain what does it mean if 10th house is loaded with many transits? Im not sure if transit this time give any significance/meaning to my career ( Im jobless... Ok, life is really bad now ) or my father (our relationship is not good). What I know, 10th house also means your public image. How can I relate these 3 matters with my heavy 10th house transits?

And 1 more thing. Should I pay attention to progression aspects as well? Are they really important as outer planet transits?

Dark Uranian, I will not move this question to the Greenhorn Lounge, because you did give a littlebit of astrological info like 10th house has to do with Career, public image etc.

Try to figure out the following. (I am not giving you a answer here, just how to go about it to find your own answer OK? That way you can learn).

The transiting planets all have different energies and mean different things.
The Moon moves so fast, it lasts a few hours only. The other planets Venus and Mars, stay about 1 month in that house and Jupiter about a year, depending on how often he goes retrograde.

If any of these transiting planets also aspect your MC in your natal chart, you could expect more noticable things, but this is not the case with you.

Try to find a good site which explains what these planets mean and what sort of energy they can bring into that public area of your chart. Also see if there are other threads in the Transit Forum which deal with similar cases as yours.

Progressed planets are very important, because they stay for years on end in one sign and only move like 1° to 1°.5' per year, except the Moon of course. Moon moves about 1° per month.

With progressed positions, you should look at which house these planets rule in your natal chart. The energy of a 3rd house ruler which by progression is now in the 7th house for instance, shows that communication with others will become far more prominent in your life for the entire years this progressed planet is in that house. Do also look at the traditional ruler of the 3rd house (Mercury) when you do this.

Uranus, Pluto and Neptune hardly move by progression. They play a more important role in transits where they can stay for years on end in one single sign, due to their slow moving and their repeated retrograde motions.

Jupiter and Saturn are very important in transits on all accounts (transiting a house, a sign, a planet, an angle, a point), and by progression will show most impact when entering a new sign or a new house or conjuncting the Angles.

Its a strange coincidence. I am currently out of work too and my relationship with father is also not the best at the moment (to put it very mildly!). And i posted an exact same query on another forum!

I too thought it had something to do with with my tenth house transits. (I also have a MC in aquarius!)

Days of looking around have made me come to the following conclusion. tenth house transits somehow bring issues of "becoming your own boss" to the head, through crisis or otherwise it makes you 'grow up'

starlink, thanx for ur reply. It's nice to have ur guide so I can learn how to read my transit and progression chart as well. Now I understand planet's progression in a chart can be very important to us. Before this I thought only transit's from outer planet can give us big impact. Ive tried progression reading on my natal, but I have some difficulties to understand them.

When we have our progression and transit at the same time, which 1 will have more strength? Do they give same effect or progression can only give mild energy compared to outer planets transit?


AquaAqua, Ive looked at your chart. We both have same transit in the 10th house currently . But the only difference are I dun have any natal planets in my 10th house. Since u have Sun and Mercury in 10th house, do you feel any effect of this transit? Especially when u mention about your relationship with ur father. I tried to find if I could relate this transit with father-child relationship. Other than 10th house, maybe 4th house (home) could be included?

And u mention about transiting Saturn in our 5th house. In my opinion this transit means limited fun or romance (bcoz I dun see my frenz quite often this time. Im more like an antisocial person dis time ).. But in last 8 months Ive found my guy and currently we live together now. Maybe Saturn transit in 5th could indicate we will start new romantic relationship with full responsibility.

Ive noticed dat u have Saturn and Pluto in ur 6th house. Do u mind if I ask u wat kind of job u like to do? Since 6th house means health and service, do have any interest in any service jobs to others? Or maybe in health career? To tell the truth, I dun think Im jobless bcoz im too choosy or lazy. It's just that I dun have any idea on wat kind of job should I pursue. Could be Neptune give me hard time to choose suitable career for me. What about u?

starlink, is it true when any Pluto transit hit our Ascendant it can transform or regenerate ourselves to a new person?

My father has been an uneasy restrictive type of element in my life. I believe i am now at a stage where i am finally breaking free from him (or so i 'think') or rather leaning to be more proactive and decisive.

This transit was textbook for me! I met a girl in july last year. She was the first person i came close to marrying, but somehow its not happening now. But trust had i gone ahead..it would have changed my life forever! last 6 months were THE most intense period of my life. I sure did learn a LOT

Also - My best buddy and neighbour moved away to the suburbs in early 2007; My other best friend got busy with his career, so suddenly my 'fun' was consideribly reduced!

Astrologically AND numerogically i have come to the same conclusion - my biggest challenge in this lifetime is be to find a direction! It dosent matter i sell corn or make software, i NEED to know what and how i wanna do it!

Saturn/Mars/Pluto AND Jupiter in Sixth! I am a case study for the 6th house .

I am mildly hypochondriac, i have noticed circumstances outside my power influnce/govern my body a lot. I NEED to pay attention to it much more than others . However...IF i do so...it does also give really good results. So its a case of extremes. But its an area where i can never sit back and relax... i have to work on it constantly. (all these are my observations and corraborated by what i have read and NOT just what others say about these aspects).

Also at 27 i am still looking for a dream job/career that i can throw myself at.

Work Life rules; Have been a major victim of office politics; but my real character/strength also comes to force in my work life only. Somehow all my ex colleges ALWAYS remember me.

She has one of the best house description i have read on the Internet! And i have read more than anyone i know! I particularly love the 10th, 3rd and the 6th.

With sun and mercury in the 10th and going thru wat i am right now, the first time i read her marlon brando analogy...i felt understood!
