YOD info please

Hi ALL,

I have been searching for a website that can automatically calculate my YOD,
i am or have been searching for my actual reason for being in this world, other than to bring my two boys into this world, i feel there is more to life than just procreating and working in routine.

I have read that the YOD can give answers to this and can be a start or trigger for finding purpose in life.

if anybody can offer how to calculate this and be able to comprehend what it means i would be greatful in all the words meaning..

www.astro.com gives free charts including internal aspects like yods. But feel you may well be disappointed with just that alone.

Everyone feels frustrated, disgruntled at times. Life has lots of challenges, reasons for us to be here, cos in my opinion its all about Lessons that we have chosen, or want to learn spiritually. Cos when the physical body dies, what's left, your mental and emtional and spiritual experiences and that's what you take back home with you.....

Yod
This is a quincunx-sextile-quincunx. It features a crisis of - and a need for - perspective, in which the energies of the two sextiled planets find difficulty integrating with that of the apex, quincunxed planet. This dichotomy is not directly a conflict, rather a bewilderingly dualistic, seemingly irresolvable and compromising situation. This is an 'appointment with power' in which consciousness and its capacity for seeing are tested. It is a secret to be decoded, an intense dilemma, or a visitation from the Unknown. This is where intentions refuse to gel with realities: the solution is available as soon as clarity and insight dawn - there's a hidden secret underneath which needs dredging up. The yod can be accentuated when an opposition is thrown in, with two semisextile aspects too. The opposition forces the issue, and the apex planet then becomes very critical: what it represents needs to be consciously worked, owned and integrated.

It all depends on the planets involved the houses they are located, any other aspects to these planets, eg; easy trines or T squares.

Maybe its just a passing transit that's making you feel like questioning everything, or even a typical Neptune square Neptune, midlife crisis. If you want others to help and analyse your chart, its best to upload and post it...

I have noticed that people with 3-4 quincunxs in a chart are 'always' looking for answers to the divine meaning to life, bit like the mutables...

Of course progressions and transits can 'set off' the Yod, which otherwise these energies are still not quite integrated within the personality.

Thank you dearly Astrolger50. ok i have attached my natal chart.

What i get is that my YOD is Mars in 2nd, Saturn in 4th, and Neptune in 9th.
{I am still not at the level to be able to comprehend what exactly this means}

Ok now for my natal chart the only heaviness that i could see is that Transiting Pluto is opposing my Natal Saturn, could that be triggering my YOD?
i have read that a transiting planet can triggering this "inner crisis or conflict" in the YOD.
I do beleive that we all have a divine purpose here( larger than just doing our daily routine, it doesnt satisfy me to accept just that we are here just to be), perhaps that is what i want to know truly. what my purpose is? so that i could get started on it
and be on my spiritual path, or do whatever it is i am here to do, and know who i am, this is what led me to YOD research. I do feel i an ready to be awakened. just the fact that i am in search of truth in a deeper way, and not accepting anything at face value tells me that i am ready.

I always believed that when the student is ready, the teacher appears.

One cannot expect a Yod to be a major life changing event. It may be the subtleties of everyday living. You may be here to perhaps to, I don't know... delay someone for a moment in time..and prevent something from happening to them, or happening TO them. You may do something major and be aware of it. maybe not. Relax and whatever the reason is and why, you may never know. I realize the secret may be to figure it out, and it's purpose but some are expecting whistles and bells and it is just not the case.

Thank you Aquarius T for your help. I wish life was as ez as whistles and Bells. I do feel that i should be helping on a grander scale and perhaps doing something that benefits as many people as possible. this is what brought me to the YOD issue. I thought perhaps with some different perpectives in regards to YOD, i could manage to find this way to do whatever it is i am suppose to. I somehow feel there is a larger meaning to life. yes i will try to relax but my merc in scorp in my 8th doesnt allow me much relaxing time. I am always digging.

Instantly i notice T Pluto has been opposing your natal moon. Oppositions are other people, and has prob been going on over last two years or so regarding your MC first then moon. Usually this brings major transformations ONLY if your time of birth is correct. If your time is out T Pluto will be going over it now and opposing saturn this year.

Saggi is the sign of teacher, traveller, journalist, lawyer, higher education, philosophy, religion. Maybe you have been experiencing some of these things, when you mention spiritualism.

With Pisces Asc (which is quite rare, only 30-40 minutes) Sagg MC and libra sun, there is lots of restlessness always present in your chart/life. Pisces always wants to be of service and sacrifice part of itself for other peopel or causes.

For your Yod to be triggered it would have to go over your Neptune which happened some years ago. So anything going over 4-5' gemini causing opp to neptune.

Watch for T Saturn is going to square your natal moon, which may cause finaincial and emotional hardships, or just test what is really valid in your life at that time..
