Possibility of a long term r'ship with new interest?
hello all,
question i posed "is there a likelihood of a longterm r'ship with this new man?"
chart is here
I am jupiter in capricorn in 2nd house
he is mercury in scorpio in 11th house
moon is in the 7th in cancer moon is not VOC, she trines mercury and others afterwards before changing signs
mercury sextiles jupiter so I would answer this as yes
again my usual question (sorry) can anyone see what I've missed please...
I feel as if I am getting the hang on the first basic bit but i struggle to see the next bit, its certainly a learning curve... but a great one!!

Melanie
I would agree on a yes the only issue that i do have is merc and jupiter are relativly weak!
Otherwise it is a GO... maybe AG or Starlink could shine their lights on this ..
I hope it is a yes!
cheers

Re: Possibility of a long term r'ship with new interest?
possibility of a longterm , look at Jupiter's almost exact trine to Saturn, and Mercury will sextile Saturn soon
except... Mercury is combust by Sun
Sun and Mars(end of the matter ruler) in 12th
and Moon in 7th not maybe the stability you hoped for
I am not sure about the longterm part

You must be careful how you ask! There's always a 'possibility': this is different from the actual thing!
In which case, the answer is 'yes': the Moon trines the Ascendant. The Moon next trines Mercury, him, and carries the light from Mercury to Jupiter. Yay!

Re: Possibility of a long term r'ship with new interest?
I think the answer is no for the following reasons:
Mercuryand Sun combust. Lilly says "Beware of all judgments, when the Significator of the question is either combust, or in Opposition to the Sun, he will signify nothing of the matter, no good, nor is he able to bring anything to perfection." What's more, it's taking place in the 12th house of "hidden Matters." Remember that when a sign is within 5 degree of entering the next sign it's considered placed in that house. Lastly, Moon, which would represent him in this case since it's in the 7th and in it's own sign is also separating from an opposition to Venus the natural ruler of women and secondary ruler of you. While there is a trine between Mercury and Jupiter, it is in it's fall in a succedent house, and of course Mercury is combust entering into the house of hidden matters. Could there be something being hidden from you about him?
Good luck!

Re: Possibility of a long term r'ship with new interest?
hi everyone!! wow thanks for all your input on this....
you see!! I hadn't seen the combust mercury!! could mean that he's not seeing things clearly rather than an out and out no...
there could well be loads of things he's keeping hidden from me vista, i havent known him hardly any time... i am very wary after this summer to go too quick too soon even when it seems good...
i dont understand why the moon is him, i thought the moon represented either the question as a whole or the querent ie me...?
he certainly is interested, looking for something serious and longterm, but as we havent even met in person yet its hard to know, thats why i asked about the possibility rather than anything more precise... i certainly saw with some of the other horaries ive done that its a clear NO answer even with the vaguer questions...

Re: Possibility of a long term r'ship with new interest?
I don't think Mercury applying to combustion necessarily means 'no', either; Mercury and Jupiter perfect before Mercury disappears...however, I would take heed of Vista's warning. A planet who is either combust or Under the Beams is weakened, and is very likely hiding something. If you want to do something in broad daylight and get away with it, do it whilst combust.
etoilestar said 'possibility of long term' here, not whether it would be a good idea.

Hi Melanie,
I have been following Lilly's horary writings mostly. Lilly says, "the Significators of the woman are; the Lord of the 7th, the Planet the Moon applies to, the Planet in the 7th, and venus the natural significatrix of of women; the like judge for the women if she ask the question." This last last part of sentence is where I got the Moon representing the male in this question. I can see where I could have misinterpreted Lilly. It seems the Moon situated in the 7th more likely shows your interest in him.
The one thing that stands out in my mind is that you said " you haven't even met him in person yet." That explains a lot. Are you doing online dating or something of that nature? Being someone who has experimented with this myself, everything can seems perfect(great pictures, great profile, good conversation, etc) until you meet the guy in person. NO CHEMISTRY 99% of the time. Maybe this isn't your situation, but I still think there is something being hidden from you about him.
I hope everything works out for you!
