Born on the Cusp

The cuspy stuff is gonna be interesting!

There are all sorts of astrology theories about the influence of the sun as it does its cuspy thing and moves from one sig into another. But it could also be explained by having some other planets in Aqua or Pisces.

What do you think yourself, from what you already know about astrology? Do you think you're more Aquarian or more Piscean?

I have aquarius at 26 degrees....does that mean I have pisces influences too?

I think this whole cusp thing merits another thread completely, rather than hijacking Lone Angel's introduction thread!!!!!

Oh, I thought cusp meant being born in the week when the signs are changing over (Feb. 22). My Sun is only in 3 degrees Pisces so I don't know if it's cusp or not. But, if I am I feel more Pisces because I'm not all that cold and logical. Though I do have that distant dismeanor of an Aquarius.

It's a lovely word, cusp.....it sounds all mysterious cos you don't see it much outside astrology.....but a cusp is actually a point, a precise moment. The sun is only ever in one sign or another. So, LA, If your Sun is 3 degrees Pisces, there ya go. You're a Pisces, by around three days! And SS you're Aquarian.

But, both of you, where are the rest of your planets? A Piscean will always have Mercury in either Aquarius, Pisces or Aries. An Aquarian's Mercury will be in Capricorn, Aquarius or Pisces. One of many possible explanantions for the influences of neighbouring signs that you're experiencing :-)

I'm gonna ask the mods to move this thread into the Natal Astrology part of the forum. I think more members will come across it over there and I'd like to see what everyone else thinks about people born "on the cusp".
