Hello Jerry!

Yes it does seem like an exercise in futility most of the time!

I hadn't thought about that before but now that you say, it would seem more than a coincidence. Like 'Look at me! Look at me! The answer is over here!'

And yes I have been but feel like circumstances are out of my control at the moment.

sorry, im new. i can't seem to find a list of this fixed star spica @astro.com :(
link to specific SPICA info page at "Fixed Stars In Alphabetical Order" section at http://www.constellationsofwords.com/stars/Stars_alphabet.htm

Ticking the "add some fixed stars option box" on the "Extended Chart Selection Page" @astro.com shows the position of SOME of the fixed stars on your natal chart but the feature is very basic and not comprehensive.

lol i found it...i looked for fixed spar Spica's astro number and it took for forever. ok, i see these purple alphabets SP, REG, SIR, ALD, ALG, and ANT. what is their meaning?

SP (Spica?) conjuncts Pluto (22Lib) in the 12th
REG conjuncts Sun (0Vir) in the 10th (in the 11th full house)
ALG conjuncts Chiron (22Tau) in the 7th

d00dle, you'll find all those stars listed in the left hand margin of a page at that link I gave http://www.constellationsofwords.com/stars/Stars_alphabet.htm , and then clicking on any one of those listed fixed stars directs to a page showing the meaning of that particular star according to various acknowledged authorities on the subject http://www.constellationsofwords.com/stars/Stars_alphabet.htm

Hello,

I am interested in studying the fixed stars. Can someone recommend a course?

Natally I have Spica Rising, Aldebaran Sun conjunct the Midheavan, and Pluto

12th house in Regulus aprox 4 degrees to be conjunct.

I sound like a class project....LOL

Gemini Sun
Scorpio Moon
Virgo Rising

Thank you in advance for any responses.

Best, Lisa

Start with a study of Robson's "Fixed Stars and Constellations in Astrology", then Eric Morse "The Living Stars"; use constellationsofwords.com as a constant reference, and look over the many posts in the Fixed Stars section here on AW for additional tidbits.
