With natal Jupiter in Capricorn in the 5th, I'd say that she has always been one to be in charge and on top of things where her kids are concerned. Tr Pluto has been causing this confidence to waver somewhat. That's normal, and quite OK, and not an indication of anything bad happening. I have been through tr Pluto conjunct natal Jupiter - quite recently - and I quite enjoyed it!!! It brought about a differing perspective regarding my beliefs - not necessarily my spiritual beliefs, which this transit strengthened, but my fearful and limiting beliefs - all of which needed to be ditched, as they were like dragging around heavy chains. She may be feeling this change deep within her, and freaking out because she is used to be quite on top of things, and Pluto tips the balance for a time. Keep in mind that Pluto never takes away what you need to keep in order to get through your life. It may rearrange your life, but will only oust that which is not in your best interests.
I notice 2 things in relation to her marriage-house - the 7th. Firstly, she has the triple conjunction between Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter occurring almost on her 7th house cusp. This will be opening her to all kinds of possibilities, and her newly found sensitivity (particularly with Neptune in the mix) can be playing with her sense of reality. Neptune crossing the 7th house cusp can render one at the same time paranoid, powerless and deeply negative about the relationships one shares with significant others. She's best not act upon this, but to just bide her time until she gets used to this energy change.
Also, I notice her solar arc Chiron is conjunct her natal Mars in Aries in the 9th, so what she is experiencing in relation to her husband may actually be an opportunity for healing something (possibly from early in her life) in relation to her father, or other significant male in her life. Perhaps her father left or died when she was young, and she has felt abandoned and betrayed by this. I'm just guessing now, but that is what this energy can be about - an opportunity to put to bed something from the past which she carries just beneath the surface of her consciousness.
