I was born under a total lunar eclipse, but all I've really been able to find out about it is the sun opposition moon thing. I've asked about it here, and searched it elsewhere to no avail.
Is your eclipse solar or lunar?
There's a member on here who's like an encyclopedia in her knowledge, I'll PM her and ask her to post some links on this thread.

hello, sorry for the delay, thank you for the links:biggrin:: eclipses are fascinating and I have read a bit of Bernadette Brady"the eagle and the lark"saros cycles" but I get a bit lost with N18 s228 series thing.

i guess I will watch Prince William and how he gets along...not that there is anything similar but will just observe.

thank you.

oh and it was a total lunar eclipse, hazelrah

I am wondering how many members here were born on an eclipse day, either solar or lunar, and how this plays out in your lives? I spent quite a bit of time recently, on this thread

http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40285

exploring a natal Sun/Moon opposition in the hours preceeding an eclipse, and came to the conclusion that the lunar eclipse will alter the interpretaion because the Sun and Moon, though opposed, are also parallel. This could change the dynamic of the opposition.

Because I am always curious, I tried to find information online about what historically people thought about eclipse birthdays, and came across some pretty interesting superstitions. For example, this link

http://bemusedmused.blogspot.com/2007/03/ss-49-lunar-eclipse-and-superstition.html

says
A well-known (still modern!) superstition says that a pregnant woman shouldn't touch her belly during a lunar eclipse. Doing so will cause the baby to be born with quite a noticeable birthmark.

Now, I'm not one for superstition...however, I just happen to have a very large birthmark on my right leg that is about 1/3 the length of my femur. :surprised:

So, were you born during an eclipse? And has anyone else come across any interesting facts or superstitions about it?

That is interesting. Mine is on the shin between knee and foot, taking up almost the whole leg when I was little, lol. But you were born during a solar eclipse? Again, hmmmm...wonder what other myths could be true?

I was born during a solar eclipse- 3/7/70.

As an astrologer it has given me an incredible advantage to working with people.

It was after learning I was born during an eclipse via astrology that things started to make sense.
