The Fort Hood incident had Jupiter,neptune, chiron on the asc with the moon as a seeming trigger at 22 degrees Gemini. The Orlando incident had the moon opposing Pluto and Saturn.
I am curious about these events and there corollary to current transits. Any thoughts Theo?

You are right on all counts, especially with the building Saturn/Pluto square, which is exact on November 15th and continues to have its influence through December, January, February, and March before easing that month, and then re-applying again in August 2010.
Mars plays a role, however, the Saturn/Pluto square shows that there is more to what happened at Fort Hood than meets the eye. According to my calculations there was more than one shooter. The man they are blaming could not have gotten off more than 100 rounds and hurt all those people by himself.
The Moon was in Gemini during the attacks, in a full lunar cycle, trine to Pallas, and to the stellium in Aquarius - this clearly shows more than one attacker. If anyone looks at the transits at that geographic area, and look closely at the position of the Moon relative to the other celestial bodies, it will become quite clear that there were more hands in this mess than is being reported at this time.
It will most likely come out, and cause another round of theories about what really happened, but there obviously were others involved than the one person blamed for it all.
The Saturn/Pluto square has its hand all over this as well, and calls to attention the building emotions about many things, war, religion, and the inability of people to listen sympathetically, and to make changes before such energies can build up to a peak.
The influences of this are general and spread globally. They spark off what is inside the people already, and incline, but do not compel, so situations that have been building without any kind of positive resolution are left to simmer on, until the influences bring them to boil over. We are seeing this occur now in the world, and this will expand before, during, and after next year's Cardinal Crisis transits.
It's a shame since much carnage can be avoided by listening, acting before such things happen, and calming down enough to make significant changes before matters get out of hand. It's going to get worse I'm afraid to say because I do not see people pre-acting enough to tone things down.
The best way to counter these things is to greatly reduce the cold, uncaring, unsympathetic attitudes/behaviors, and actually listen and help individuals and people having real-world issues to find ways to support them so they are not left alone to fester until these kinds of transits come along and spark things off.
One of the problems in today's society is that many people simply do not care - until after events like these sad evens have already happened, and, the reactionary response is to talk it to death, look at some transits of the incidents, and then to go on as if nothing ever happened until the next reactionary events come along.
However, if we use astrology properly, we can see some of these energies building and make take appropriate steps to ease down the influences of the transits by preacting rather than reacting to what obviously are tragic events. The loss of life, and the failure to listen, to care, and observe those in distress often leads to such very sad occurrences.
Like I said, it's going to get worse before it gets better. Next year's Cardinal Crisis transits are no laughing matter and there is much more on tap for the world into the 2010s until people start to lose the cold attitudes, lack of interest in peace, and get involved to greatly reduce the lack of caring for one another. These world transits are no joke.
