Quote:
It is important during the month of September and October 2009 to be
more sensitive to the feelings of others - especially males and young
teens. Look for signs of distress which are not easily obvious at first
glance, and make sure that emotional states are such that one does not
allow situations to develop internally because still waters also can run
very deep.

Interesting, the third week of August, as my children returned to school, an argument that had been brewing most of the summer, spilled over at school. My daughter was punched by a senior at the highschool. Her enemy was standing next to the girl whispering in her ear. She stewed over it. The next day I received a call that she and her 'enemy' had ended up fighting at school. She was suspended for 10 days.
My daughter related that at a football game last friday, many fights broke out and the kids were running from one fight to the next. It seems a lot more excitability than I ever remember at these events. Things just seem to be 'brewing' and there contacts do not end at school as they have constant conflict brewing on Facebook et al. One parent removed his daughter from another school just due to this on going bullying and conflict.
