I'm not sure if this relates exactly to what the article was stating, but I have noticed a correlation with transiting Mars and the behavior of my ex-husband (when I was married to him).

He had an (undiagnosed) personality disorder. And I noticed that during hard Mars transits for him, those times were when he had his rants/rages (which lasted hours on end, not just your run of the mill outburst).

I stumbled on the correlation by accident. But as I came to realize this (epiphany), I distinctly recall noticing an upcoming Mars square to his natal Mars aspect for him, and so anticipated another outburst. And yes, it did occur, on the day the transit was exact.
