Ive always been different and weird, since I was a child, for friends, my parents and siblings .. Even I have friends I feel alone in company. Also I feel misunderstood, like if I speak in a different language and see things deeper and broad minded than my peers.

Also, I ve been constantly feel influenced by others mood/emotions. Because of it, I prefer to be alone than be drained by others. I can feel others pain and I feel inside of me a wish to relieve their pain. I dont know how, but also people feel relieve with my hands, even I have not been trained.

I shall say that my pursue of knowledge is one of my visions and most interests in life, particularly to know the secrets of life from where we come, and where we go.

Always good counselor I felt attracted to Psychology and Astrology since childhood, and as I learn more and more, Im nore attracted.

What about the karma and past lives issues related to the 8th house??

Sun, Mercury and Mars here in Leo, Sun opposes my Aquarian Moon. I think Sun and Mars is difficult in this house!!!!

Hi Aira. Just curious, what planet(s) and sign(s) belong to your 8th house? I can very much relate to the draining effect from being around other people and "sponging" off emotions. I always felt like the alien, too. Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong generation and maybe even on the wrong planet. It's rather frustrating when you feel like you "know" so much but there's no way you can explain it to the world. Of course I'm not saying that I know everything...I'll never learn it all in one lifetime, but it's the feeling that I see a larger picture - it's a desire to help future generations really. Hehe, I guess there are ways to explain what I see but I would probably be crucified or burned at a stake lol ...ah ok not funny

Hey Orlandoleo, I can imagine the Sun is tricky in the 8th, I know about Mars, and yes it can be a lot to handle.

Hey everyone, I have my sun, venus, and pluto in the 8th house with mercury on the cusp of the 8th house. I feel it's affected me alot in my life as I've had alot of losses especially early in life. My life is constantly changing and I've had to change myself with it. I feel very deeply about things and it's like if I see an injustice done to someone else it makes me feel bad like it's happening to me.

Aria and EdgesOnCircles, I identify with much of what you said. You aren't the only ones out there feeling that way, although I suspect that my fellow-feeling comes more from having Scorpio moon in the 12th conjunct Scorpio ascendant and Scorpio Neptune in the 1st.

I have an 8th house question. My Mars in Cancer (14 ' 24) is in the 8th, but just barely. My 9th house is at 14 ' 53 Cancer. Is this truly an 8th house Mars? Sometimes it feels like my Mars reacts more with ninth house issues.

Hi all. I'm sun conj mercury in the eighth, in Libra. and Aquarius rising.

Strangely enough ( or not), I don't think consciously about that aspect of my chart as much as other issues. It's more unspoken , perhaps, in various subtle but /powerful ways.? I identify much more with my airiness, I guess.

I've always been a bit reserved socially, till I know people, , also have venus square saturn.. but 4 planets in leo..! (I'm not all doom and gloom - but can have trouble sometimes getting people to see 'the real me').

I have intense brooding feelings at times that are hard to put my finger on. Also, I, too, often don't fit in with those around me - , and my libra sun wants to connect between different groups and approaches. and also is not at home in the 8th, arguably. Fyrefly - according to Stephen Arroyo , yes you can most definitely interpret a planet as being in the house it's near, if that feels right. He says , if it walks and quacks like a duck, - it is a duck!!

I Have My Scorpio Sun, Mercury, Venus, Lilith, Pallas, Neptune all in conjunction in my 8th House, so I am 100% Scorpio. Not easy to trust anyone. Loyal, honest etc.
Sometimes feels this deep Scorpio too heavy, but then again, I would not want to be anyone else either. I have Mars and Pluto as my roling planets. I Have fiery Aries Moon also, so lots of Mars influence in me, lol.

I have Jupiter conjunct Uranus (less than 1 degree orb) in the 8th. Pluto in Leo is in the 8th as well. Cancer is on the cusp, and my moon is in Scorpio. I'm very familiar with the Scorpio/8th house energies.
Once you accept the energies, it's very comfortable, in a dark intense way.
