ok, im wondering if anyone else on the forum has their lot of fortune trine their vertex?
my lot of fortune is conjunct my sun exactly, but my sun is the only one that is indicated trining my vertex.... its a 4 degree orb difference
anyone else have this issue? is it because these are more angular positions than planetary bodies? need some theories....
also i cant seem to work out how to post my chart to my signature

The Vertex only uses conjunction and opposition, not the trine, square, sextile, or anything else.
I'm not very good at interpreting the vertex, but with a Pars Fortunae directly conjunct (within a degree or two) the Vertex, I don't think you'll feel the energy of one flowing to the other like you do with the planets. The reason for this is that the Pars Fortunae and the Vertex are hypothetical points in the sky. There's not an actual physical body called the Vertex, or an asteroid called Pars Fortunae.
The way you WILL feel these two together, however, is when (in synastry) another person's planet is directly conjunct or opposite your Vertex/Pars Fortunae conjunction. Then, their planet will simultaneously stimulate both points in your chart.

trine aspects are quite often taken for granted as they create easy flowing energies between planets. BUT POF is not a planet, it's a sensitive point, so is vertex.
We are all visual people and need to see charts. If you simply want to research POF or vertex have you tried our search engine?

“However, in the case of both significations one must keep in mind that no one indication in the chart, not even the Part of Fortune, can be taken by itself as a total indicator of any area of life. For health one must also look at the Ascendant, its ruler, the Moon and its ruler. Also the sixth and eighth houses as indicators of illness and death respectively have strong indications for health. For material prosperity one should also look at the second house, the tenth house, and their rulers.”

“The fortune indicated by this part is not necessarily materialistic or even tangible, though it can be. It depends on the sign and house location of the Part of Fortune. The benefit can be on the physical, intellectual, emotional, and/or spiritual plane of experience. In all cases it is through the cultivation and expression of this point that one will experience harmony and a sense of well-being.”

“The Part of Fortune represents worldly success, and is associated with the physical body and health as well. It can be indicative of the career or vocation. Worldly success and prosperity are associated with the Part of Fortune, and both its sign and house placement suggests innate abilities and talents--areas of life and qualities that are expressed naturally.”
