greetings all!

I am new to the forum and a student hoping to one day be a professional astrologer. I am beginner to intermediate level. While I am learning, I plan to offer computer generated reports and tarot readings for clarification on the astro charts until I get the hang of astrology. I am more familiar with tarot and will lean on that for the moment. I hope to do this online first and want to give clients a preview sample of the computer generated reports I offer. I figured a star/celebrity/famous person's chart would be more intere sting than mine :) But, I have no idea if one needs the star's permission or not. Perhaps I'll have to have a sample chart of someone who has passed on- Jimi Hendrix and Tesla are some that come to mind. But Obama would be great and much more modern, I think. Saturn is sitting on my ascendant now. Neptune in my 6th house (mysterious rare illness in form of auto-immune disorder) has led me to go for online astrology for spiritual and health reasons. My natal Uranus & Pluto are in my first house, North Node in aires, neptune in 3rd house- just a little info on me.

Any information on if sample charts need permission would be greatly appreciated.

Many Blessings to all

Auset

I look at it this way, nobody seems to ask them whether they are ok when gossip articles are written about them. Unethical, perhaps, but it's one of the consequences of being in the public eye. We all have consequences of the choices we made in our carreers, the people we meet etc.

Unless a celebrity comes out and says 'I don't want this stuff written about me', I don't think it's unethical.

Astrology of course, is not to be compared with a slandering gossip article (unless you rape it that way). If you put out high quality stuff, I don't think anyone is going to be unhappy about it. Maybe when they read, they might even appreciate it.

Thanks for responding! I called Kepler software and they said because birth information is in the public domain, it is legally ok. I think I will put somewhere on the site that if a star should want their chart removed- to notify me and I will remove it from my site.
