Pallas-trine-Mars

I honestly just picked a random aspect from my chart when registering, true story. Don't be afraid to disagree with me, just hear me out, then post your ideas, so maybe we can both enlighten each other. :)
Technically, regardless of the labels the astronomical community gives the Solar System bodies, there are no 'planets' because they all have some smaller body crossing their orbit. On a larger scale, if you look at a picture of the Sun, any one of those tiny Sun spots is even bigger than the planet Jupiter and every one of the orbiting bodies may as well be the same size. In spite of the scientific put-downs, Pluto, the Moon and the Sun in spite of not being "planets," are definitely still rulers of the signs they were found to rule. There's never gonna be a new planet discovered, unless they find the legendary gas giant planet 'X', I think they'll all be put in the dwarf category. And either way, all the new discoveries take hundreds, even thousands of years to make one orbit.
So my question is this: What are we waiting for? We've known about the asteroid goddesses for 200 years now and science has introduced us to so many other significantly-sized and interesting planetary bodies, why do we still have 4 signs sharing rulers!?
Personally, I do observe ancient rulers still as co-rulers, but as someone with a Virgo asc. (my chart (http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/8c0/f98/8c0f98e5-7cd5-414f-93fb-847750a27fea)), I want my own planet and I believe that the time is now to appoint one! Mercury doesn't entirely fit to our sign because Mercury has little to do with health professions and emotional issues. My favorite body is Pallas for domicile rulership because it's mental, chaste, a healer, a crafter, a professional, and a sympathizer, to me she combines Mercury, Vesta and Chiron energy all into one, which are all associated with Virgo (although I really do love Vesta, I love Vesta as a Virgo the same way that I love Neptune as a Cancer [and I'm making no sense!] Idk, I think we Virgoes just have an affinity with that asteroid, the similar pronounciation, the glyph looks like a leaf or a bromeliad... Perhaps we're Vesta's exaltation since everyone is saying Mercury's is Aquarius?) I'm not sure who first suggested Pallas as ruler of Virgo, but Walter Pullen, creator of Astrolog programmed it with this asteroid having dignity here automatic in the software (I think he made a thread (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3042) here too)
For Taurus I like Ceres. It's concerned with nurturance, personal necesities and a bit Saturnian in it's sober, worry-some ways. But if Venus were to remain with Taurus, Vesta I think is a somewhat good match for Libra, active, devoted, unemotive and detailed (though I'm not sure I can see Vesta being in detriment in Aries).
Also, can anyone give me some info about the United Astrology Conference? Is it annual?
