Hi Tik

There is an applying square from the Moon to Jupiter, 3rd house ruler [supposing that going to Seattle is a 3rd house matter for you].

Anyway, before the aspect is perfected the Moon meets Uranus' antiscion which prohibits the perfection of the aspect.

As I'm currently exploring cartography techniques applied to horary, looking at the map in the image below, I see that Seattle is located between Uranus and Mars direction lines.

So, both techniques suggest an unexpected event [of Martian nature] prohibiting the planned travel to Seattle.

I noticed the Part of Fortune (= money) on Alcyone (= "something to cry about").

On the other hand it looks that it wasn't a 3rd house travel after all but a 9th house travel! Silly me, I thought that people in America are flying across the country in all directions all the time, as they do in movies :38:so I took a plane travel (even to a different state) as a 3rd house travel.

The Moon is separating from the 9th house ruler.
Weirdly, there is a 1st house ruler (Venus) - 9th house ruler (Mercury) application, which would indicate a positive answer even if Venus is so weak - only in its face essential dignity.

But what I'd like to ask (and could represent the key to the chart) is this: why is the Moon in the 12th house? This is obviously not a simple question "Will I make it to Seattle?" but it surely has ramifications that pertain to the 12th house.

Another idea: the local space map above of the horary chart has some merit though - the closest line to Seattle is the square to Mars direction line, with Mars ruling the 2nd house (money), so it could indicate money problem.

hey Radu

** yepp ***

** long distance trip is 9th house but i take jupiter as a natural ruler as well *

Silly me, I thought that people in America are flying across the country in all directions all the time, as they do in movies so I took a plane travel (even to a different state) as a 3rd house travel.

** not a lot of people travel as much as they show in Hollywood.. don't believe everything you read. some people never left the state let alone the country ***

***well .. that is the reason why i posted the chart... conjunction was there.
in the house of travel ***

** nothign dramatic.. the person who inquired just wanted to escape to another state for a few days. ***

**** her points expired on her credit card *frequent travel* so that is where the problem started ****

So she is a frequent flyer! In this case, my point of view is that the 3rd house is to be used, as I assumed initially. It doesn't matter whether the distance is long or short, as she flies long distance frequently and she would be back within a few days. No use for the 9th house here which involves a certain degree of travel adventure.

Why did she ask the question in the 1st place?

not quite.. if she buys a ticket for someone with her credit card or anything else, she gets points = miles but some expire after a while regardless if it is her flying or someone else. the points collect into a credit card .. hers expired 5 days before she booked the tickets. The tickets with miles should have been only 20 bucks.

what do you mean why she asked a question in the 1st place?
