questions about chart interpretation

Hi, I have been trying to interprete this chart I did and I have mars in the 1st house, from what I have read this is negative. Then quite a few oppositions and input of what oppositions mean.....the actions of others affect the situation and outcome? Also, when the north node is conjunct another planet do we consider this a fateful event that the querant has no control over.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Hi tootsie,

Mars in the 1st isn't necessarily a negative thing; it depends on the context.

Oppositions aren't negative, either, although they usually mean that some difficulty may make things harder to bring about; again, not necessarily. Again, it depends on the context!

North Node must be conjunct a *relevant* planet. In horary, it has nothing to do with karma; it is, however, considered a fortunate thing to have, like a little boost.
