I know there's a book recommendations thread, but a lot of it is mind-blowing. I don't know where to begin.

What would one suggest as an essential primer/introduction to Natal Astrology?

I'm also curious on books about the asteroids as well.

But I'd like a book or three about Natal astrology, how to essentially read the aspects, planets, houses, and signs.

Then possibly a list of books in depth on the signs, houses, and planets.

I just want an introductory guide/primer so that I can better understand Astrology and Natal charts.

Thanks.

Thank you both, Tikana and L2J.

I'll try and pick these books up or borrow them from the library.
